[b]Royal did indeed step back, the bullets lodging themselves dangerously close to his chest as his armor had been weakened with the grenade.
The shield DeSpawns and he steps forward recomposing himself.
As he stepped forward, he attempts to stab at Anne while she is down [/b]

Anne quickly rolled towards Royal so that his blade would impale the ground beside her. Suddenly her Magnus transformed into a sleek rapier in a poof of twilight particles, which she then thrusted into an open part of Royals leg.

[b]He fell to one knee, his sword in the ground and both hands on it. He pushed her a few feet away using shadow powers the shakily stands up [/b] "You've passed the test Anne. Congratulations."

Anne pushes herself off of the ground. Dusting herself off. She had Magnus transform back into the pistol and holstered it, and she sheathed Twilights Hope on her back. She was panting, and exhausted. "Phew....that was exhausting.. Thanks for...the pass.... Say, your the one with the bar right?"

[b]Royal looked at her and smiled [/b] "Yeah that's right."

"Thank God. I'm gunna need a drink after that."

Anne winced slightly as the last second of her memory was wiped. "Ya. Thanks Roy. I'm gunna go get a drink now. Then probably sleep... See you around?"
