JJ got up from the fall, still somehow alive. He suddenly puked after all the blows, with an unhealthy amount of blood appearing in the refuse.
JJ then began to reply to Zane's comment from before the tower fell, "Ugh... That was the exact same thing for me. As a matter of fact, Cobalt was my first fight. Looks like you and I are forged from the same furnace. There's one big difference, though... I fought him three separate times, and only died once. As a matter of fact, all of this fire was a parting gift."
JJ then took from the walls of the Kiln to make a sort of cocoon around himself, incredibly thick and guarded by surrounding fire. Inside, JJ was toiling away in an attempt to tend to his wounds and keep fighting.
[spoiler]The fights with Cobalt literally lasted a week whenever I fought him, lmao. However, I don't intend for this to extend for that long.[/spoiler]

He gets up, brushing the dust off of him. Ash starts to flow around him, and his eyes change to a cobalt blue. "Funny thing, he left me this fire as well." Wings of blue flame sprout from his back, and gain a silver tint. His aura also changes to a cobalt blue, and twin katana's form in his hands. The fire stops the bleeding as he finishes the transformation. [b]Ability active: Peacekeepers Fire[/b]

The cocoon falls away, and JJ stands tall. He's still hurt, but he can fight much better now. "Ah, that's neat. I had that at one point, too. Thing is... Honor was given to me after that." The flames surrounding JJ grow more fierce, burning brighter and hotter. JJ then raises his hands, smirking, and sends two streams of ash rushing toward Zane, as well as a column of fire arcing above him, obviously meant to hit him on its way down. While this was happening, JJ was striding across the arena, towards Zane.

His own ash form a barrier around him, protecting him from the ash as he absorbs JJ's Flames to temporary boost his own attack power. The ash barrier then turns into spears as he launches them at JJ.

"Hah." JJ conjures his own ash wall, catching the spears. They all fall, returning to ash. The ash then began to flow upwards again, creating much smaller needles. (Think needler rounds from Halo.) they then all fly to surround Zane, then they fly towards him.

He releases the fire he absorbed to block the ash needles, then dashes forward, cutting with his twin katana's. "Hm, we seem to cancel each other out."

JJ forms his ashen weaponry into a shield, and draws his sword yet again. He blocks one katana with his shield, and parries the other. "That we do. How about we get up close and bloody?" JJ then drives his knee into Zane's stomach, followed by a shove. Then, a wall of ash forms in between him and JJ. Behind the wall, JJ was stepping back from it in case Zane tried to do something with it.

He recovers and leaps over the wall, swinging his katana's and unleashing a massive flame wave at JJ.

JJ steps backward from the katanas, since he was already away from the wall slightly, and simply embraces the flame wave, absorbing it into his own flame as Zane had done. The silvery aura around his flame had turned a deeper shade of blue to match JJ's. JJ then sent a wave of ash at Zane's face, attempting to blind him. JJ then follows up with a shield bash, and a vertical slice across Zane's chest.

The ash hits hitting his eyes plus the shield bash caused quite the stagger, causing him to back up and the slash to miss. Temporary blind, he relies on his aura to find JJ, and sheaths one of his katana's. He dashes past JJ, quickly drawing his blade for a series of slashes that only a trained eye could catch, and sheaths his katana again. [spoiler]You know, the fancy shit that happened in anime.[/spoiler]

JJ blocks the first blow with his shield, and creates a flimsy ash wall toward the end of the slashes. However, most still connect, dealing damage. "Ow, Jesus Christ! The hell was that?" While attempting to plug his wound with ash, JJ conjured a stream of ash to plow into the back of the still-blind Zane, knocking him to the floor. Surrounding ash then forms into three different broadswords, which plunge into Zane's legs and right side.

He senses the blades and quickly rolls to the side, his chest and legs still getting cut but avoiding serious damage. He manages to wipe the ash from his eyes and opens them, grinning. "Master swordsman remember?" To demonstrate this, he gathers aura on his blade and slashes, releasing a huge wave at JJ.

JJ uses his wings to simply fly over the wave, only slow enough for the wave to just clip his feet and hurt him minuscule amount. "Alright then, [i]Master[/i]... try your hand against some bullets." JJ then forms an AR from ash, and begins to fire at Zane's chest and head area while circling above him.

He closes his eyes and focuses, slicing the bullets in half as he jumps up and slices at JJ's chest.

JJ quickly thrusts his rifle forward, blocking Zane's slash, but also destroying the rifle in the process. JJ then draws his own longsword, with ash swirling about it. He dives downward toward Zane, waiting for him to make a move.

He forms an ashen shield to block JJ's blade, then quickly gathers energy in his blade and jumps back, slashing and releasing the energy. The flames start to dim around him, and JJ can see that peacekeepers fire is fading.

JJ rolls to the side while flying, dodging the wave. Meanwhile, JJ's flame was burning just the same as it was before, if not brighter. That was the difference between the Peacekeeper's Fire and Honor. Honor was directly connected to JJ's being, just like Rage and Despair. It wouldn't fade until he couldn't maintain it, or it was overtaken by Rage or Despair. JJ turned around, and then formed a sniper rifle in his hands. He then fires three rounds at Zane's chest.

He uses the last of peacekeepers fire to block the bullets by creating a heat done around him. His flame wings fade along with his katana's and ash, and he sighs from the stress. His body starts to ache from the attacks. "Heh, guess your fire burned brighter then mine...."

JJ lands, breathing heavily and trying to talk between breaths. "No, it's not... that it burned brighter, it just has more fuel... This is better than the alternative. Trust me, that'd be bad news for everyone here."

He stands up, his aura growing as he gathers power. "Heh, that fire of yours definitely is something else though, when I fought cobalt I guess he wasn't at his peek. I have a feeling if he used what you had, I would have lost."

"You fought him... what, back in the Old Dojo? Back then, that was his peak, I think. After that, his flame got a lot stronger. And this is a fragment of what he ended with, I think. What he used in our last encounter." JJ looks at the flame dancing across his hand, before closing it and looking back up. "But enough sentimentality. Come on!" JJ formed an ashen hand gun in his hand, a classic revolver by the looks of it. He fires four rounds, slowly walking away from Zane.

He quickly conjures a Greatsword to block the shots, then switches to a spear and jumps high in the air. "Have at thee!" He rapidly descends, bringing the spear down on JJ. [spoiler]You know, the shit that noctis does in XV[/spoiler]

"I'm good." JJ's revolver quickly forms into a shield, slapping away the spear, which should open Zane's guard. JJ draws his sword, slinging fire at Zane as it exits. He then goes in for a stab, aimed at Zane's heart, with his shield up on his left side.

His aura flares up to protect him from the fire, and he switches back to his Greatsword to block the attack aimed at his heart. "Huh, starting to think your actually trying to kill me..." He swings, knocking away JJ's blade and goes to shoulder check him.

JJ takes the shoulder check, but recovers. "Yeah, trust me, I don't want this to end either. It's good training. But, everyone else is watching us, and they expect this to end with blood. So, how about it?" JJ steps back, and levels his blade at Zane, then waves it in a "come here" motion before returning to a defensive stance.

He shakes his head, and various weapons float around him. "Sorry, but I made an oath never to kill a fellow member. So I guess il just have to beat you into submission." He grabs a longsword, and sends his weapons at JJ.
