I feel like all 3 of those strikes should of came when ROI dropped, should of gave us a New strike to introduce Strike scoring. They could of used that unused Vosik Concept art (the one with the boss, that had car parts) and put him out by the Old Highway or something, oh well, I will still try them out.

sure it would have been nice to get these 3 new strike modes with the ROI expansion and made it feel much bigger, but at the same time if it had we would have all been done with them by now and played them to death already. delaying may seem like artificial inflation to some, but at least its free. had this been a new paid expansion your complaint would be 100% valid and i would agree but since its free there really isnt any harm in it other than some might not like the time gated practice. i like the fact all of this makes the dawning festival feel like a much more expansive update than it really is or could have been. and you never know, it could have taken them these additional couple of months to complete this content and it wasnt ready yet when ROI released, as someone else stated.

lol same here. i feel like im more addicted than ever now and simply must complete everything! that includes me being a day one player who used to have to raid 3 times a week and do 3 nightfalls a week with all 3 of my characters. i feel like i play more now than i did back then lol.

Lol I would play more, but I'm terrible at trials (I'm a PvE kinda guy) and that's really all my friends do. All I need to do is aksis challenge and more patrol quests, but I'm kinda burned out on those. I love strikes though, hell I would rather buy new strikes after releases or after expansion releases, then to buy treasurers for ornaments, lol.

Edited by anthrax99: 12/5/2016 5:24:13 PMya strikes are probably the best content in the game. they are just the right balance of challenge and length and allow for matchmaking and there is a lot of them now. the only thing they need to fix is to not get the same strike twice in the same session unless you play them all. i hate getting the same strike twice in a row or 2 out of 3. raids are great but they can be way too time consuming and hard if you dont master the mechanics. never mind the time it takes to put a team together sometimes and dealing with randoms who are unbearable. ive gotten a little better at trials but i still get stomped more times than not. its honestly not that fun since its always the same map and therefore the same tactics over and over and over. regular crucible and iron banner are way more fun IMO. trials gets old and boring pretty quick but its worth playing for the max light rewards. i use all the trials gear that drops at the end of matches for infusion. its quicker than playing nightfall or regular crucible. but it only rewards year 1-2 armor and no guns. you can get guns from bounty rewards but they max out at 390. i guess all the good stuff is only at the lighthouse but i will never find out lol.

Haha same here, best I've ever done in trials, was like 6-0. Raids are awesome when done with the right ppl or friends. I just wish you could do them all at our current level, I missed out on VOG and CE, when I played them my level was high, so they were pretty easy. Archon Forge is cool, but I really wish there would of been more encounters and higher difficulty, they are super easy now. Would love to see a SIVA challenge of elders too but that isn't all that either.

I don't disagree, but I'm willing to be the Destiny dev team is running a little low on manpower due to future development efforts like D2. So delaying the strikes until the year-end update allowed them time to complete them while working with the resource they have available. Not defending the practice, just calling it as I see it, as a fellow dev.

Yeah you are right, I just hope Destiny 2 doesn't follow these same practices.

I'm sure they'll learn from any mistakes, as much as the Activision overlords allow them too, anyways. I work for a company owned by a parent company, and we deal with that sometimes as well.
