My only question is can I still cheese the chaperone quest? It's the one exotic I never got in year 2 and that makes me feel empty inside.

Cheese it why?
-
Because I'm PvP trash and I didn't have time to do it last year. I made it through The Thorn quest in year one legit solo with no void primary and did the First Curse quest in year 2 and almost raged to the point of breaking my controller. I'm too old for that shit and need to keep blood pressure down. So I have no problem riding around in circles to get it.
-
Honestly you will find it more rewarding doing it properly
-
Because some of us are not the greatest in the crucible.
-
Seriously, in this new shotgun meta, the Chaperone quest has never been easier. Don't have to get kills with TLW, just have it equipped. Put it in then do like everyone else: use your Matador, but only from corner and doorway camping or as Jugg-titan. Should have enough kills in a couple matches.
-
Your stats say your slightly better than me and I had no problems
-
Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
-
Haha that is true maybe it's just cos you haven't used that weapon as much as I had.
-
I don't understand what you are trying to convey.
-
Just saying some people find it hard to use last word for a start and I may have used it more than you
-
Quite possibly, i prefer Hawkmoon in the crucible.
-
Hasn't been the same since it was nerfed
-
To each their own I suppose
-
What @Autumn_chinook said.. This is how I helped a friend complete that step in their quest.
-
Dude use the private matches glitch. Kill your opponent 4 times and have them back out of the match. It'll take about 25 times to do this. But it works.
-
Won't know till release, but, if you have 2 friends, jump into rumble, keep getting double kills in a corner somewhere. you'll finish before the match is even done.
-
Or just do it properly
-
since he wants to do it via SRL, its safe to say that "doing it properly" is less of a concern for him compared to just "doing it"
-
True but surely doing it properly is more fun, and feel like did it properly and not just having it given to you
-
Edited by Technohydra: 12/5/2016 2:56:49 PMI thought that too. Then I went into Crucible and went up against a team of 6, over and over and over again. With the progress loss mechanic in place, you either have to get lucky, cheese, have an amazing couple of games, or have someone do it for you (which I refuse to do). I was going to wait until Mayhem Clash was back in, and rack it up quick on a blade dancer, but it's been gone for 2 weeks...this is my sadness, lol. I'm gong to do it legit though, like everything else.
-
Always best to do things properly and least you have something to do in the game still, I'm kinda stuck with very little to do at the minute
-
I basically have that, Outbreak Prime, The First Curse, and then working up a Trials team left to me. I always prefer legitimate accomplishments and challenges; for faction exotic class items, I always do the 25th rank via patrols and nothing else, just to make it feel more 'earned'.
-
I did mine all like that and then I used the heavy ammo to get some different rolls on the weapons and so on, all my quests I done legit, been flawless a fair few times but never seem to quite get there with the people I enjoy playing with most
-
Keeps the game having something to do for ya, mean for me I have nothing to do in the game at the moment
