Raid mm is not a popular request. I honestly don't get why anyone would want it, LFG can be bad enough.

It was the most requested feature yr 1 Thats exactly why it should be added LFG and recruitment are nothing more than player made matchmaking. Its extremely frustrating and annoying to have to schedule my video game time. Just so I can play the main part of the game. I play games on my schedule which changes based on my real life duties. Example. My friend tried to put together a raid last night. Problem was I wasn't available as I had dad duties. Now the team didn't raid OR I missed out. Now when I finally got on they were off or otherwise occupied. I logged off... tell me thats not a problem. Raids are the only thing I have ANY intrest in doing at this point and I cant without busting my ass on social media. Yeah... thats NOT gonna happen. At this point it should be added. No reason at all it shouldn't be. So since Bungie refuses I no long have any intrest in playing like I used too. Day one player that finally gave up. I guess just giving us back old shit is how they intend to keep the player base... well f that. I already have Saprrows, Gear out the ass, emblems and shaders. Ice Breaker is in my vault. Has been since yr 1... Sorry but none of that crap interests me any longer. Actually playing the end game does. Just not the social media aspect in anyway shape or form.

Nf matchmaking sure...please stop asking for raid matchmaking it wont work. Its too long and you will join in on random areas. Trying to do it with lfg is annoying enough but matchmaking will make it impossible.

The Bungie baords sure deos has teh dumbs. If it was optional, why would you care? Just click the option for, "No Raid Matchmaking", then you don't have to worry about it. Why are you, and so many people, opposed to giving me the option to have matchmaking on Raids? It doesn't affect you in the slightest because you will never have a random drop into your game if it's optional. This is the problem with these boards. You are toxic for absolutely no reason!

Just use destinylfg.....better chance of finishing the raid that way

Nobody except those asking for it will choose the matchmaking mechanic if it gets implemented. I have played with many good and bad teams for every raid using LFG, not too much else to say there. But after that, I mostly play solo. I do get ticked sometimes when it takes more than 10 minutes to find a group for VoG or CE, but then I imagine with matchmaking... Even worse, all the current Strike and Crucible matchmaking problems aside, you would be unsure as to where you are in the raid for a minute, which would lead into confusion if you do not speak to the people already in the game. People are assholes, what is to say they will even teach you how to raid if you get in and don't know what to do? Yes it is their fault for choosing the matchmaking option in the first place but the point still holds. It would be a nightmare. Also the guy wasn't being toxic.

Yes he was, and so are you. It doesn't matter to you. Every single complaint you made would make zero difference to you if you choose to turn of Raid Matchmaking. If I choose to turn it on, then I would have to deal with the consequences you described. But since it wouldn't matter to you, why don't you just keep your mouth shut and let us ask for what we want? That's why it's toxic. You are trying to control us, when it makes no difference to you.
