He was okay with tagging along with Ami, but he still wanted Belle back. And soon enough, he'd strike a deal with her somehow. Help her have Salem separate her from Belle, and then have Salem give him Belle back. Unless, separating the pair was harmful to Belle. Then Ami could stay put. Lance walked like he was always on his guard, somehow. Even though he was relaxed, graceful, almost elegant in stature, it was the way his body moved..like a living weapon. He seemed ready for a fight at a moment's notice, and looked relaxed at the same time. Putting his hand in his pocket, he withdrew a peppermint wrapped in plastic, which he plucked off and put the candy into his mouth. Strange habit. [/i]

No."[/i] [b]And with that, Ami lifted up a hand, a blue ball of energy forming in the center, making a sound resembling swirling wind.[/b] [i]"Take care, dear."[/i] [b]With that, the orb expanded into a flat opening, showing the perfect image of a massive city on the other side. The city was beautiful, with flowing water, gardens, towers, castles... Like it was from a dream.[/b] [b]With a hop, she passed through the entrance, waving to Lance as the entrance began to collapse.[/b]

[i] He rolled his eyes at her, not bothering to wave back. If he had his way, he wouldn't have to deal with her for much longer. No, he'd have Belle back. And he didn't care what he had to do to force Salem to make things right. He'd bleed like everything else. He turned his back on the portal, and with shoulders up and back straight, walked off to god knows where. [/i]
