He sidesteps the attack, kicking away JJ then jumps forward and sweep kicks him to the ground, going to punch his face but stopping, extending the claws and drawing blood.

During all of this, JJ's shield falls off of the stairs and clatters to the ground below. Whenever Zane completes his attack, JJ lashes out with his now free hand, and grabs the arm that just drew blood. He then angles his sword upward, and stabs for Zane's armpit. Regardless of rather or not the attack succeeded, JJ pushes Zane off afterwards, and he stands back up. By this point, Rage and Despair have nearly formed. It seems like they'll be ready within a few seconds.

He jumps back, his aura forming around him as he enters redemption, his hair turning silver to complete the transformation. He cracks his knuckles as he jumps forward, stopping short and creating a wave of force that pushes JJ back.

JJ stumbles backwards as Rage and Despair form, catching himself on the wall. "Alright, C'mere!" JJ then runs toward Zane, sword ready to strike. However, he throws his sword over Zane's head, sticking it into the wall behind him. Once he's upon Zane, he delivers a punch to the gut, followed by a shove.

He slaps the punch away as he grabs JJ and flips him, throwing him over next to his blade and slams his hand onto the ground, creating a shockwave that slams into JJ.

JJ somewhat catches himself from landing on his head with his arms, and is then blown into the wall by the shockwave. He then gets to his feet quickly, grabbing his sword. "Can you knock that off, it's sorta aggravating." Realizing he's on the upper end of the stairs now, JJ bolts, leaving his sword in the wall. They should be on around the 6th story by this point.

He sends a blast of aura in front of JJ to slow him down as he runs to catch up, slashing at his back.

JJ spins on his heels once he's stopped by the aura. With the energy armor surrounding his hands, JJ attempts to catch the blade with his forearms, and succeeds. However, the blade goes through Rage, and cuts JJ. He retaliated by grabbing and twisting the arm that cut him, then delivering a fast kick to the right knee followed by shoving Zane while he's off balance. JJ then turns, and runs with renewed haste as Rage glows brighter. Now, he's at the opening to the roof.

He growls, grabbing his arm and popping it back into place. He focuses aura at his feet and gains a boost of speed, easily catching up to JJ and slashing at his back as he runs past him.

Now that Rage has gained more power, JJ can take the hit and suffer only a minor cut from a smaller blow like that. JJ calls Despair to him, and it flies into his hand. He reaches the top, and throws Despair at Zane. The blade is headed toward Zane at a surprising speed, directly for the arm closest to the Star. All the while, JJ lunges for the star, doing everything within his power to reach it before Zane can grab it.

His aura glows brighter as he pushes himself into stage 2, and lighting strikes around him from the massive power increase. Some of the bolts his JJ, and Zane is able to quickly knock away the blade as he reaches for the star, grabbing it and jumping away with his prize. "Hehe, you were just a tad slower then I." He absorbs the star power, it's force allowing him to do what he thought was impossible. His hair grew longer, all the way down to his lower back as he floats slightly above the ground. JJ struggles to his feet, groaning. "Now that... was some bullshit." Rage powers up further, as well as Despair. At the very least, JJ won't die in one shot. However, Rage begins to shutter from side to side quite violently. JJ then prepares himself for Zane's onslaught, watching for the very first attack.

"Let's see if you can keep up!" He closes in, preparing to unleash a devastating combo.

JJ skids backwards, digging his feet into the ground. The wind is knocked out of him, causing him to nearly fall backwards into the hole to the roof. "I'm not going down that easily, although I do think I have a little internal bleeding..." JJ under Zane as he begins the combo, dodging the first few blows. For the next couple of blows, JJ deflects them with his sword, pushing him backwards toward the ledge. He does take the final blow however, unable to deflect or dodge any further. Rage visibly cracks, and quickly repairs itself as JJ cries out. Before he can fall off of the tower, he quickly throws his sword into the opening. When he does lose his balance and falls backwards, he teleports to his sword. He then runs down the staircase, sprinting for his life.

"Hehe, trying to stall for time now?" He flys down and land in front of JJ, delivering a powerful kick that slams him into the stairs.

"Oof!" JJ hits the stairs, causing some pain with Rage taking most of the force from hitting the floor. However, there was a nasty popping noise from JJ's back. He then recovered, and jumped down to the next lower set of stairs, and then began to try and stay under Zane.

He snap vanishes again, grabbing JJ by the neck and bringing him to the top of the tower. He throws him where the next star will be and crosses his arms. "Hey Deity, spawn in two more stars will ya?"

"While that sounds absolutely insane... I'm game." JJ recovers from the small amount of pain caused by Zane with his last attack, JJ begins to watch the star point, either waiting for a message or a star to appear.

The deity pondered for a moment.... Then, he hit the mic. "Fu[i]c[/i]k it!" Eight hundred starts began to shoot down from the skies, lighting the dark sky up with an orange blaze. The stars hit JJ and Zane head on, sending them crashing into the floor. The starts began to hit the tower as well, fracturing its integrity.... [spoiler]Tell me when you hit 70 replies. That goes for you and Zane[/spoiler]

He absorbs some star power, extending the duration of stage three as lighting strikes around him. He grins as he powers up, preparing to transform once again to a new level of power.

JJ grabs some of the falling stars, absorbing their power. Suddenly, blue flames erupt from the top of the tower as Honor appears. The flame is so intense from the star power that the top of the tower went from cold and windy to something like an oven. Blue wings of fire sprouted from JJ's back, granting him as much flight as the modifiers would allow. He then formed twin shotguns in his hands from controlled ash, and headed toward the ground below the now-collapsing tower. On the way, he grabs two more stars, increasing his power even more. "Well, Zane? Let's bring the house down." While speaking, his mere presence with the flame was burning all flammable materials near him, turning them to ash. [spoiler]Okay, I need sleep. I've got stuff to do tomorrow, but I'll make an attempt to reply as much as I can.[/spoiler]

Zane's hair has shrunk, and now only goes to just past his shoulders, and has turned blue. His shirt is gone, and instead his back us covered with silver fur that climbs all the way to his shoulders. His aura has also changed, turning from silver to blue as it radiates off of Zane. His baggy Gi has turned black as well, and JJ can see his eyes have also went from blue to silver. When he speaks it sounds like there is two of him. "Stage 4, something I've only dreamed of pushing myself too. Help me test it out won't you?" He snap vanishes right behind JJ, delivering a powerful kick that breaks the sound barrier.

The star power and Honor allow JJ to take the hit and live, but he still goes flying, eventually stopping by hitting the floor a few times. "Okay... how about you knock that off?" JJ then raised his hands, causing fire to spread across the grasslands. Soon enough, the landscape was bare, nothing but an ashen wasteland with a destroyed tower. JJ uses the ash from everything that he's burned so far to form giant, rounded walls of ash with fire topping them off. They surrounded Zane and JJ, in about a 65 foot diameter, almost as if they were trapped in a kiln. Then, an ash storm kicked up inside of the cauldron, preventing sight. The only thing that could be seen was the tendrils of fire swirling around JJ at the other end of the kiln.

He closes his eyes and breaths, his aura protecting him from swallowing any ash as he sends out his aura to locate JJ. "Think this ash will save you? Think again." He finds JJ and gathers aura in his hands, JJ can sense the power it gives off, but it also reveals Zane's own location. "[b]Aura Blast![/b]" He releases the built up energy at JJ, weather or not it hits he won't know until the ash clears.

The aura blast passes through the flames, extinguishing them. However, there is no cry of pain, and the storm doesn't let up. Then out of nowhere, Zane feels a shotgun blast on the small of his back. The pellets lodge themselves inside of Zane, however far they've gotten. If Zane turns around, he can catch a glimpse of a figure covered in flame running back into the storm. After the shot however, visibility clears up slightly.

He staggers forward, rubbing his back. Blood slowly drips through his fur, and he starts to gather energy around him. "Oh, you'll pay for that...." He unleashes the energy, blasts emitting around him in 360 degrees and punching holes in the kiln.
