Damien returned to the compact radio a moment later, running a hand through his hair to push out all the sand and did stuck in the blonde folds. Oddly, when he started dialing, an amused grin passed across his face... He was up to something. "Roger niner, motherfūcker, delta shithead, do you copy?" Static. Damien twisted a side nob and flipped a lever, holding the radio up to the sky until the static fizzled in a high pitched feedback noise. "I ASKED, DO YOU FŪCKING COPY?!" "Fūcking stop!" Came the unfamiliar voice, much to Damien's pleasure. It sounded feminine. "I need an airdrop." "It's four in the morning..." "Not where I am." A few short grunt and hurried steps later, a distant clicking noise began to pick up. "Got a lock. Inbound in thirty." "Thirty what?" Bang! Damien toppled over as the large metal crate slammed into him, still smoldering from bursting through the atmosphere. "Milliseconds." "Ya... Got it... Thanks, Cleo." "Don't call again." Damien sighed as he pushed the box off his chest, sitting up only to find the box o the wrong side. What followed was a got five minutes of trying flip the damn case, each movement accompanied by an unnecessary grunt. By the time it had been opened, Damien looked like he was about ready to pass out. Some would have equated it to his new revival... But he was actually just lazy. However, the gear inside... Well... It was worth it. "Ian... I'd like to introduce you to my Cannon Rifles. They shoot thirty eight millimeters." Damien pulled out the massive gun, the size about half of his body. It was large and bulky, with a massive clip and grip. Looked like the most impractical war machine. "I got two... Want one?"

 • Ian shrugs, sweeping his hair off his face with one hand. He needed a haircut.. He didn't really get Val's statement, if he was being honest. Nikki was brilliant, he already knew that. But if she wanted to be a master thief, and not build AI networks, than that's what she should do. Ian was strong believer in living ones life how they wanted. "I don't know. She's good at what she does, and it's not like she's a murderer or anything. If she wants to smuggle and steal money, than so be it, it's what she's good at, and what she enjoys. No ones gonna think different of her because of it." Except maybe you, Ian thought to himself, but didn't dare say it out loud. Of course, his opinion was mildly biased because of his feelings towards Nikki and everything they'd been through together with the team. Even Val could see that.

 • "Then there must be a middle ground. Always a compromise. It's people like you and her that can change the universe for the better. Have her break into a vault to steal something that can help others. You could build the next breed of super cruiser." Val wasn't an unreasonable person, but she had the highest moral standards of the Lordans. She took greatly after her uncle, having lived with him the most... Damien the least. She saw potential, and she saw potential wasted... She simply wanted the best for Nikki... "Maybe it's an age thing... Soon enough I'm going to be an old woman with grating hair... Words don't count as much then." Val leaned back in her chair with a sigh, resting her head in her propped up hand, staring blankly at a vial of something orange and bubbly. "Well, I can't bother you forever. Best get your food before it gets cold." That was probably Val's way of saying she was finished talking. In a way, she was like a concerned mother looking after a much to large family. And the twins certainly weren't making her position easier.

 • Ian guessed she was trying to be the voice of reason to them all. It wasn't a bad thing, but most people didn't listen to reason. "Yeah..I guess I'll see you around Val." Ian says, giving her a two fingered kick salute and turning away, headed to go find food. He was starving.. (End?)
