[i]Artemis sighs.[/i] "You know she's getting a little annoyed by this, right? Being super dense doesn't work with girls like Iso."

"I don't try to be. Up until I came here, my entire life revolved around combat. I never really learned how to act outside of the military." Cannon replies, looking defeated.

[i]Artemis tries to hold back a smile.[/i] "I would't be surprised if she friend zoned you soon."

Cannon looks surprised for a moment, then his face slowly changes to hurt. "I've got to make it up to her... Haar'chak......"

[i]Artemis sighs and puts a hand on Cannon's shoulder.[/i] "I don't think you can, Cannon. You should just try to get over her."

Cannon looks up at her, mildly suspicious at this advice. "I don't think I messed up quite that bad yet."

[i]Arty takes her hand off.[/i] "I guess it's not that bad, but your personalities are very...contradicting."

Cannon shakes his head. "Look, I know I'm not the best person in the galaxy, or even the immediate area. But I care about her, a lot. I'd do anything for her, including changing what I am to the best of my abilities."

[i]Artemis has a genuinly concerned face.[/i] "Okay, changing yourself is something you should never do. You are you and you should be happy as you. I might be protective of Iso, but I'm serious about this."

"Changing would honestly be a blessing for me. I want to feel emotions again, not that I don't feel anything, but it's an old coping habit that I don't want anymore." Cannon sighs.

[i]Arty hugs Cannon.[/i] "You're not completely emotionless, but...do work on it. In all honesty Iso is getting tired of it."

Cannon blushes at being called Iso's mate. "Thanks. Now, I really need to find her and apologize for being a di'kut, did you see where sue went?" He gazing around the party, looking for her.

Cannon walks up to them, stopping nearby and sitting down to wait for a polite moment to step in and apologize.
