Unpopular ornaments have higher drop rates. RNG clearly not random

I have now received my 9th "Not A Toy" ornament from my "free" Sterling Treasure from Siva Heroic Strikes. With the game being out less than 12 weeks I find that extremely frustrating. There is no way this is just RNG screwing me over like usual. This isn't the only repeat ornament I've had either. Clearly there are more popular ornaments and from everywhere I've read they have a naturally lower drop rate. This has got to be fixed! I can't help but feel Bungie has done this to trick people into buying more packages from the Eververse to get to the "good stuff" which (if proven true) is very under-handed. Anyone else notice this trend? Can someone do the math? I counted 28 possible weapon ornaments. Which should mean an equal 3.5% for each ornament to drop. For the same ornament to drop 9 out of a possible 11? packages there is NO way I'm that unlucky. • I agree. I did an experiment and turned in 12 Radiant Treasures at one go. I got 4 of one ornament, 3 of another, and 5 singles. If this is their idea of random, they need to re-check the dictionary.
