Cannon watches from the shadow, waiting for his own drink.

"Hehe." [b]The man chuckled, popping open the bottle. [/b] "That's an understatement." [b]He poured some of the drink, whiskey into a glass, and shot it down easily. [/b] "I'm the Gorram owner, mister... Sorry who are you?"

"Name's Lok. Cannon Lok." His drink arrives and he takes it, drinking deeply from the black liquid.

"Name's Royal. So, Lok where do you hail from? I'll guess by the drink, Mandalore's moon?"

"Spot on, vod. Straight out of Concordia." He takes another drink. "How about you?"

"No real home if I'm being fully honest. Don't remember."

"Ouch. I've known that feeling before, not nice."

"It is a very terrible feeling indeed. Very terrible." [b]He poured another shot, swiging it down [/b]

Cannon nods and takes a large swig, downing the ale and calling for another.

"So what brought you here? War? Or just running?"

"A bit of both. My clan was scattered when the Empire cracked down on us. Burned our capital to the ground. I'm a pathfinder, so to speak. Looking for a new world to colonize, or at least stay at until things blow over back home." He shrugs, taking another drink.

"So what about the Clan? They here?" [b]He pours another shot, taking a swig [/b]

"No, sadly. Their somewhere in the outer rim. Shames, our chief, brought us all togther into a fleet. Ugliest thing you ever saw, but closest thing to home we own."

"Huh. So what now? How long you gonna wait? Or are they gonna come to you?"

"I have my own ship, but no hyperdrive. That... And the clan has no clue where I am. My comms array can still bounce the occasional message, but until I can make a proper hyperlane they can't get here. Not sure here would be the best home for us anyways. Too many titans."

"Titans eh? Do you know where they are exactly? I can take you if needed"

Cannon laughs. "Didn't mean literal, vod. But we Mandos prefer to be the top of the food chain. Too much magical mystic osik here."

"Still have some tech guys. There's several ships capable of making the call. Perhaps more."

"I'll have it fixed within a week. The hardest part is mapping hyperlanes, that'll take a month at least." He takes another drink.

"Heh sounds like tough work. Hope you make it."

"Thanks vod." He raises the mug. "To finding a home." He takes a drink.

"To finding home." [b]Royal takes another shot, slamming the glass down [/b]

Cannon downs the pint, his vision looking slightly unfocused from the alcohol.

[b]Royal stands, patting Canon in the shoulder. [/b] "Farewell."

"See ya 'round, vod." Cannon orders another drink.
