"I know what it's like to starve, so this is my way of giving back."

He nods, sitting. "So what kind of food is this?"

"Raw fish with rice and...I don't really know all of it." [i]A waiter drops off a large tray of sushi without saying a word.[/i]

The younger three just stare at the sushi in wonder. Grandma: "I do recall eating something like this when i was younger.." Kari: "You do? How come we've never heard?" Grandma: "It was a long, long time ago."

[i]Artemis giggles.[/i] "Well? Dig in!"

The younger three curiously sniff around the platter at first, and then they start working on around two rolls at a time. Grandma goes for a normal looking one and begins chewing slowly, and Kari seems to be waiting for everyone else to finish a few rolls before actually eating one himself.

[i]Artemis eats some tuna and salmon.[/i] "I hope you're all enjoying the food."

The little ones nod, all looking quite happy. Grandma nods also, currently chewing. Kari swallows so he can talk. Kari: "Honestly, i don't know what to say, we've eaten raw fish before, but not served like this!" He holds a roll to emphasize. "This is probably the kindest thing anyone's done for us in years."

[i]Artemis blushes slightly and gets a little jittery.[/i] "W-Well, it just l-looked like you needed help and umm..." [i]She starts to play with her tail.[/i]

He giggles, his laugh quite childish. "Yeah? And what?" he asks with a smile, happy his family was being fed properly and thankful someone was helping them.

[i]She blushes more.[/i] "...and you seem like nice people...."

He smiles warmly. "Well thank you Artemis, not too many complement us either."

He eats another roll, not knowing he was still looking at Artemis. Grandma: "Well aren't you two cute." she says, more or less third-wheeling.

[i]Artemis' face immediatley looks to the ground and her tail covers up her huge blush.[/i] "Wh-What are y-you talking about?"

Grandma just munches on another roll as she chuckles to herself, being all Grandma-like and not explaining. Kari seems to blush a little himself as two spots on the white part of his face turn slightly pink-ish. "Grandma, was that really necessary?" She continues chuckling.

[i]Artemis just stares downwards, glancing up at Kari's eyes with her beautifle, bright, and sparkly blue eyes for a few seconds before looking down again.[/i]

Kari smiles as he looks down at his food with his reddish brown eyes. He picks up a roll that seems to be covered in various spices and sauces (the equivalent of that once really, really, REALLY, spicy roll). "I wonder what this one tastes like..."

[i]Artemis chuckles, knowing what's to come.[/i]

"What's so funny about sushi?" he asks, smiling. He opens his mouth and pops the roll in. After a few moments of chewing he gets an odd look on his face. He swallows. "My mouth feels funny....OH GOSH! What was in that roll!?!" He quickly downs several glasses or water.

[i]Artemis laughs so hard she falls out of her chair and rolls on the ground.[/i]

Kari sets his head back as he pants, his tongue a little red. "Gyyaahhh...hooot..."

[i]Artemis continues to laugh.[/i] "You had no idea!"

Kari's grandma chuckles to herself and the three just watch, still nomming on sushi. Kari: "No..-pant pant pant- i did not... -more panting-"

[i]Artemis sits back down with a smile.[/i] "That was so cu-funny! Funny! Hehehe..." [i]Artemis chuckles nervously.[/i]

He chuckles as well, pretending not to notice as he pants. He downs half another glass of water until talking. "That was -burp- spicy."
