"Feed your inner demons, lest they consume you. My mentor taught me that, albeit in a much different context but never has such a statement been more true." He places the dying fox into Damien's opened hand, awaiting for the sustenance to be taken hold of.

 • "Energy drinks are for pussies." She remarked, sliding something off the drawer near her door, tossing it to Ian. It was a long range communication device. "I assume you don't have one. Use this instead next time." It definitely more sleek and advanced than Damien's old radio. It was a rectangular device about six inches long, three inches wide. It had a screen, some simple range dials, and a contact list already installed. General people to call... Most of them from the outer rim areas of NTR aerospace. "But it's like, two in the morning anywhere near the gas giants right now... So don't call."

 • "Didn't plan on it." He said, slipping the cell-phone like device into his pocket. He couldn't keep the stupid smile off his face, but that was normally customary for him. Especially now though, he thought to himself. "Who's the new roommate?" Ian asks curiously, tilting his head to indicate the new occupied room on the hallway.

 • "My aunt... She's been sticking with us, making sure I don't do stupid stuff." She mused, motioning for Ian to step inside as she padded to her bed, tilting over to quickly collapse onto it. "Lucien isn't around a lot. Always doing something now... Has a new job. Don't get to go many places. It's boring as hell."

 • "Good thing you have someone here now to wreak some mischief with." He says with his same cheeky grin, exiting his armor and letting it stand near the doorway, walking over and sitting at the foot of her collapsed bed. Ian hadn't changed much in the past months, same old unruly hair with emerald green eyes and hints of gold, fingerless gloves and dog tags around his neck, trademark tank top and black jeans, the only difference is he'd actually put on a bit of muscle in the last six months or so. He was still small, being only 5'7", but his arms had gained some definition as well as his chest and back, going from skinny to a bit more filled out. "Well, if your aunt is anything like Damien and Lucien..I'm sure she's a fun person to be around."

 • Nikki hadn't changed much. She still wore the complexion of a teen in most places, but she had grown enough. Her eyes seemed sharper and more focused, hints of light green swimming along the bright blue. Her hair seemed to have a natural shine, even as she tangled it up into a bun. She still retained the general Lordan build, even if she wasn't as tall as her father. She had grown nice curves, but hadn't transformed into an hourglass. What had changed the most was her room. She had decked it out. Computers, servers, and screens filled the walls with a constant feed of information. Most of it focused on off-world accounts feeding into various charities. Business being drained by the millions into Nikki's filter, only to move into low chance help centers. Seemed she was putting her hacking skills to good use. Well, besides the fact some of the money was headed to a private account which was most likely hers. "She's fine. Actually, she's normal. She's just uptight. Apparently she and my mom didn't get along... Might still hold a grudge against her. Who knows? It'd be better if she were more trusting."

 • "At some point, she'll learn how. You don't have much of a choice on here." Ian said with a half smile. The most noticeable, new thing about Ian were the..tattoos? Peeking out of his tank top on his back. Up towards his shoulders, on the right side was hinting Black and white ink, and on the left there was a bit of green showing from underneath the cloth.

 • "Sure... So what about you? This doesn't seem like a place your parents would live. Lucien said deserts and forests... Come here for tattoos?" She smirked, still as aggressive as ever... If not slightly more jokingly than she had been in the past. It was a hard to love kind of personality... But hell if she was gonna change it. "I always thought you were the soft type."

 • "No, my parents live quite a ways away from here. I spent some time there, and then found myself here after some..questionable activities." He said, not about to mention getting shot down again. One more and he'd probably set a record. "But no, I got them at home. I got bored to be honest." He says with a laugh. "Life's nothing if not short. Why stare at blank skin?" He turned his back to her and reached around his back, pulling the side of his tank top to the left and showing the black and white tattoo. It was beautiful and whoever had done it clearly knew what they were doing. While it was in black and white, it didn't have a bold and pronounced look, the ink was very lightly done and gave the work a very wispy and flowing disposition. Said work, was a Victorian style pocket watch with Roman numerals, surrounded by a mass of pistons, cogs, and gears that all seemed stuck in perpetual motion. The whole things was fairly big, taking up the entire upper right of his back. He switched, pulling the shirt in the opposite direction and showing the colored tattoo on his skin. This one was smaller, six inches long and sat opposite of the other one. It was a dragonfly, curiously enough. It's body was the same emerald green as his eyes, and the color switched to a faint, glimmering gold for its wings. The tattoo was done in what looked like flowing strokes and swipes, the whole thing not having a defined outline but a freeflowing and beautiful design.

 • Nikki stifled the blush that wanted to rise to her cheeks, raising an eyebrow before scoffing at the tattoos. "If they were any more fitting, you would have been born with them." That was probably her way of giving a compliment... Maybe. With a snap of her fingers, a small chair rolled over to her, automated and magnetized to the ship floor. She quickly sank into its blue cushions and sighed. "Alright melon head, put the shirt back on. The wind might get the wrong idea."

 • "I'd settle for you getting the wrong idea. The wind isn't beautiful." He says, with that same cheeky grin and glimmer in his bright eyes. She knew he didn't mean anything by it, just playful flirting. Probably. "But thanks. I like them too."

 • Nikki opened her mouth to say something sharp, but ended up flushing slightly red instead. She quickly narrowed her eyes and turned her head, trying her best not to say something she didn't want to. Using her feet, she pushed the wheels of her chair backwards, stopping near one of the screens to turn off a feed that was displaying a riot in some city. The screen quickly changed to a camera feed displaying Lucien's current field of view. He was pacing through the forest, machine gun in hand as he plowed across rotting wood and small streams. "So what about this place? What's it like? Some forests... And what else?"

 • Ian smiles as she blushed, but doesn't antagonize her about it. "Desert, mountains, plains, oceans, snow, rain, sleet, hail, this place is Mother Nature's Magnum Opus." He says with a shrug. "The planet is massive, but 9/10 people reside in the Dojo. Giant hotel for people who have hard-ons for fighting. They have a Starbucks though, so ya know, they're alright by me." He says with a grin.

 • "Sounds boring to me..." She remarked, flicking off every screen until the room fell into darkness. Went to show how much light the screens were giving off. Moments later, the automatic lighting kicked on, giving off a dim purple hue. "Well... I ought to change and go test my legs out on the new planet. Go explore or say hi to Val. I don't care as long as you give me some time to not be in this room." With that, she rose to her feet and padded quietly to her bathroom, and slid the door closed behind her, eager to put on something different.

 • "Sure. Judging by your description, I don't think we'll get along too well..but who doesn't like me?" He says, that trademark mischievous twinkle in his eye as he got up and first took his armor to his room, replacing it on the stand before exiting and knocking on Val's door, twice softly.

 • There was silence for a moment before the door slid open, the person on the other side silent as one could be. What stood before Ian didn't look like a Lordan... She had fair skin, an assassin's build, deep blue eyes, short black hair with traces of pink hair dye, about 5'8 in height. Hell, even Nikki was taller. She was wearing white jeans, a black tank top, and denim jacket, hands in her pockets as she leaned against the door frame, moving her jaw slowly as she chewed some apple gum. She was beautiful but she certainly had a fire about her... But... She seemed friendly, and she smiled when she saw Ian. "Ahhh. You must be the mechanic Lucky mentioned. Liam... No. Ian. That's it. Ian, right?"

 • "The one and only." He flashes her his trademark joker's cheeky grin, leaning against the doorway, his shining green eyes examining her slightly. She definitely didn't fit with Lucien and Damien, but there was something about her.. "What kinds of amazing words did Lucien spread about his buddy?" He says. That smile of his was infectious.

 • "Fishing for compliments...? Aren't you supposed to be twenty?" She asks, her face deadpan, her eyes alight with laughter. She shared part of Damien's trademark sarcasm. But she seemed more mellow, and all around a normal person. "He said good things, not to worry. So what can I do for you?"

 • "Nah, but it never hurts to have your ego soothed." He says, his emerald eyes twinkling with humor. Val could tell he was the jovial one of the group, never letting anything bring him down. "Just came by to introduce myself. I stopped by to say hi to Nikki, thought I'd stop here before I went to do some modifications to my armor."

 • "Ahh. Well, hope I was everything you were expecting." Val winked and slipped back into her room, leaving the door open as she took as a seat at a small table covered in solutions and chemistry equipment. "When Lucky gets back, tell him that dinner is done. There's still some extra too if you want to grab a plate."

 • "Thanks, I will." Ian says, smiling and leaning into the doorway a bit, looking at the table filled with equipment. "I guess you're as much a scientist as your two brothers?"

 • "Not quite. The twins are geniuses... I'm maybe half their IQs." She stated, continuing to write something down in a leather bound notebook. "I'm also more focused on chemistry then cellular study or engineering..." She chuckled slightly, blowing a small green bubble with her gum as she turned ever so slightly to look at Ian. "But hey, gives me something to do. I can't quite sit here and be board all the time. Otherwise I'd turn blonde and have a bad temper."

 • "Half their iq's is still somewhere in the thousands." Ian said with a chuckle. It really did amaze him, Lucien and Damien's intelligence. He was a smart guy, but the twins were ridiculous. Ian grinned at her statement. "Yeah, that tends to happen to her. Maybe we can find some rich aristocrat for her to rob."

 • "I'd rather her not. She's got potential and she's wasting it trying to become a master thief. Have you seen her room? Dozens of account feeds all controlled by her from dozens of outer rim colonies. She's a walking stock market. And she'd rather smuggle like her father..." Val gives Ian a surprised glance, not quite pleased with how Damien was running the group. Lucien had the right idea... Settle down, choose something more productive. "Even then, she's moving credits to charities only because I said so. They were originally all going to an offhand account. Imagine... That mind creating super-AI networks. She could even be smarter than Damien." Damien's intelligence was his greatest feature. He wasn't exactly the most fit or combat experienced, and that's what made him dangerous. He was unpredictable and hyper sensory. Even Lucien paled in comparison. But Nikki... She combined the super intelligences of her mother and father...

 • Ian shrugs, sweeping his hair off his face with one hand. He needed a haircut.. He didn't really get Val's statement, if he was being honest. Nikki was brilliant, he already knew that. But if she wanted to be a master thief, and not build AI networks, than that's what she should do. Ian was strong believer in living ones life how they wanted. "I don't know. She's good at what she does, and it's not like she's a murderer or anything. If she wants to smuggle and steal money, than so be it, it's what she's good at, and what she enjoys. No ones gonna think different of her because of it." Except maybe you, Ian thought to himself, but didn't dare say it out loud. Of course, his opinion was mildly biased because of his feelings towards Nikki and everything they'd been through together with the team. Even Val could see that.

 • "Then there must be a middle ground. Always a compromise. It's people like you and her that can change the universe for the better. Have her break into a vault to steal something that can help others. You could build the next breed of super cruiser." Val wasn't an unreasonable person, but she had the highest moral standards of the Lordans. She took greatly after her uncle, having lived with him the most... Damien the least. She saw potential, and she saw potential wasted... She simply wanted the best for Nikki... "Maybe it's an age thing... Soon enough I'm going to be an old woman with grating hair... Words don't count as much then." Val leaned back in her chair with a sigh, resting her head in her propped up hand, staring blankly at a vial of something orange and bubbly. "Well, I can't bother you forever. Best get your food before it gets cold." That was probably Val's way of saying she was finished talking. In a way, she was like a concerned mother looking after a much to large family. And the twins certainly weren't making her position easier.
