Draft, please. He said, locking eyes with the waitress as if to say "I'm taken."

 • The blonde forced a smile and nodded, walking away. Riley muttered under her breath. "Bitch."

 • He smirked at Riley, finding her defensiveness rather cute. So I'm guessing that this whole night life thing is new to you, hm? He asked, leaning back in his seat.

 • She nodded, as the waitress brought their drinks back rather quickly and without a word to either of them; to Riley's bemusement. "Yep. You learn how to blend in as a part of the job, but doing it recreationally, no." She downs half of the purple liquid in her glass in one gulp. She'd need it.

 • He took a sip of his beer, watching her chug the concoction. He wasn't much a drinker, not because he didn't like it, but because he didn't like being out of full control of himself. Fan of vodka? Clarkson told me you seemed to like it, suggested I get you a bottle as a gift. Jackson said, rolling his eyes.

 • "Yeah. Something else I picked up from Kyr." She rolled her eyes. "Liquid courage and all that." She says with a laugh, gesturing towards the dance floor. "Come on." A mischievous twinkle glinted in her eye.

 • He took another gulp, and followed her. You know, I'm not much a dancer. He cautioned jokingly.

 • "You don't have to be. You just kinda sway and move back and forth with the music." She demonstrated, actually seeming to have a sense of rhythm. "You won't die, promise."

 • He wasn't used to this sort of music, but he tried his best to fit in with the crowds, doing surprisingly well. Dancing wasn't a strong suit of his, but he could do it. He smirked at Riley, and spoke. Oh no... I can feel my life just bleeding out of me...

 • "Told you it isn't terrible." She said with a laugh, but is promptly interrupted by a short redhead running up behind her and practically tackling her with a hug. "Riley!" She exclaims in excitement. She was pretty, in an adorable sort of way. Short, cute face and big green eyes, wavy and long flowing red hair, and a green dress that didn't do much for modesty. "You didn't tell me you were coming into town!"

 • He seemed fairly surprised when the girl nearly knocked Riley to the floor. From what she had said, he never once thought she was one to have many friends. Then again, he'd surprised her on more than one occasion. Raising an eyebrow in confusion, he waited to see how she would react.

 • "Well, ya gonna introduce me Riley?" She says cheerily, while Riley looks rather uncomfortable as she straightens herself and gestures to Jackson. "Audrey, this is Jackson. Jackson, Audrey. She's a..uh..acquaintance of mine." She mutters, while the girl named Audrey rolled her eyes. "Come on Riley, you can call me your friend. I did save your life. It's nice to meet you Jackson." She says, happily putting out a hand to shake.

 • He shook her hand politely, a courteous smile on his face, so as to not be rude. He did shoot a look that made it clear to Riley that he felt rather awkward. This girl seemed far too bouncy for someone Riley would be hanging around with, and what was this about saving her life? He'd ask later.

 • "Audrey's a healer." Riley says quietly, as Audrey joyfully shook Jackson's hand. "She's the one who saved me after I had half a dozen pieces of shrapnel in my back, plus the dozen third degree burns." She seemed almost upset about it..she hated owing anyone anything. "Yeah, but now she's kind of a hero around here. "The girl who killed the Gypsies." Audrey said with a grin. "They could probably come up with a better name than that, but it'll do."

 • He noticed Riley's discomfort, and he respected it. Owing people things wasn't something he was fond of either. However, he was thankful for the girl before him, because she had been the reason that Riley was still alive. Don't need a fancy name to be remembered. Wolfe said to Audrey. Actions resonate louder than words.

 • Audrey bumped Riley with a shoulder, a wide smile on her face. "Cute and philosophical? You lucked out. I'll leave you two alone. It was nice meeting you Jackson!" She called as she walked away, where Riley breathed a noticeable sigh of relief.

 • He waved a quick goodbye as Audrey left, and turned to Riley. Not a fan of the bubbly ones, huh? There was clear relief from him as well that she was gone. He never really cared for them either.

 • "No. not really. But she's nice if not a little naive." She looked around, before gesturing towards the door that led out the back. "Come on. I need some fresh air."

 • He followed her, happy that they would at least be out of all the noise and clamor. He just couldn't shake the lone wolf mentality.

 • They stepped out the back into the warm night..where everything went to Hell. Three figures detached themselves from the alley wall, practically materializing from the shadows and attacked Jackson and Riley. They were dressed in dark attire, seemingly all cloth with daggers in their hands. "Shit!" Riley exclaims, bobbing out of the way of one slash at her throat, while two leapt at Jackson; one on each side of him.

 • Jackson rolled under the first and planted his Bowie knife in the man's stomach. Twisting, he spun the man around and used him as a shield to block the other. Throwing the body forwards, he knocked the second man down, pulling his knife from the stomach of the first. Drawing his revolver with the two on the ground, he fired a single shot right into the spinal cord of the third man who had swung at Riley. This was instinct, pure instinct.

 • Both of them were very dead..very quickly. Riley hadn't even drawn the knife she carried, before the two were dead. She sideways looked at Wolfe with an incredulous look before walking over to the fallen one that Jackson hadn't killed, delivering a swift kick to his ribs. "Ok. That wasn't particularly polite." She said, drawing the knife from the sheath on her thigh.

 • Jackson holstered his revolver in his shoulder holster, pulling his jacket back over it. Keeping the blade out, however, he approached the man on the ground. Grabbing the thug by the throat, he put the bloody knife to his jugular, pressing the edge to his skin. Next time, don't try to jump people. Doesn't work well. He slammed the pommel into the man's temple, knocking him out cold.

 • That was when the crack of a rifle sounded out, and judging from how loud it was, it was close. Too close for someone even as fast as Riley to dodge. The bullet struck her in the back, pitching her face forward onto the ground, dropping like a bag of cement.
For the purpose of this plot; Jackson's gonna have to get outnumbered and knocked out cold lmao
That was when four more men sprung up from seemingly nowhere, leaping down from the alley rooftops and rushing Jackson. They all carried what looked like staffs that sparked with electricity on the ends. Something told him if he got hit by one of those..he'd be asleep before he hit the ground. The first rushed, thrusting the point of it at Jackson's gut, while the other three leapt from different directions on his flanks and back, jabbing the massive cattle prods at him.

 •
Oh I'll go down, but not without a fight.
As the first rushed him, threw his knife at the one beside him, and grabbed the prod behind the electric head, twisting it loose from the man's hand. Sweeping the man's legs out from under him, he ducked below those who were attempting to corner him. He flipped one to the ground using the pole of the prod, a second he hit with the electric end, the third he cracked hard in the dead leg. Backing away from them, he had a moment to recover, picking up his knife and checking his flanks.

 • Each time he attempted to hit one of them, his weapons and attack bounced off something hard.. like he was hitting stone. His attackers weren't even flinching. The one he took down and jabbed with the prod did convulse though, and stayed down. The other three regained their composure and pressured him, two of them attacking simultaneously swinging their prods, while the third pulled out a handgun and fired two shots at Jackson's thigh.
