SOLDIER FINALS PART 2
Suddenly, the entire arena flashes with a bright orange light. And a deafening sound rings through the combatants ears....
As JJ easily makes his way out of he rubble(We are just gunna roll with the bunker only being a tad blown the shit out of. Doesn't matter soon...) and Cannon stands in the destroyed cover. The blinding flash reveals itself to be a massive mushroom cloud in the distance...
A nuke just went off on the battelefied. And the shockwave begins to get closer and closer. If one wasn't to get behind some better form of cover fast, they will die. That...or an opponent can use this bomb to their advantage....

Cannon immediately tosses a flashbang in JJ's face to distract him as runs past, disappearing into the nearby trenches.

JJ found cover, hiding in what remained of the bunker. He then began to blind fire his shotguns at around where Cannon moved to, unwilling to leave cover.

Cannon avoids the shotgun fire, disappearing around the trench corner. He ignores the pain in his chest as he makes his way towards the rear trench, where the command bunker should be located.

JJ peeks out from around cover making sure to stay below the trenches. He sees Cannon's foot disappear around cover, so he quickly follows after him. Using the ample amounts of ash created by the nuke, JJ starts slamming a bunch of the stuff at relatively high speed, and then forming a thick wall. A few trenches are blocked off, including the most direct one, but most are still open. Any ash walls outside of a trench are also blown away by the blast.

Noticing his persuer, Cannon hurls a land mine over his shoulder, the explosive burrying itself into the muddy trench. He continues running, arriving at the large command bunker and throwing himself through the door, slamming it behind him.

JJ saw the mine fly backwards, as he was looking up at a consistent rate to make sure he didn't accidentally reveal himself to the blast. He peeked around the corner, and saw where the mine hand landed. So, he barely revealed one of his shotguns poking around the corner, and he fired at the mine. This caused the mine to detonate with JJ safely away. JJ continued onward, following Cannon's footprints in said muddy trench, tracing them back to the bunker and its shut door. So, he gets some distance, and uses a densely packed bunch of ash to open the door, and then he takes cover before something can happen.

A barage of plasma bolts come flying out, followed by a missile that slams into the doorway, collapsing this entrance. Cannon retreats deeper into the bunker. Judging by the size, there should be more entrances. [spoiler]the nuke wave should hit now. That's 5 replies.[/spoiler]

"Fu[i]c[/i]k." Even though he had avoided the bullets, the entrance was still sealed. So, used whatever ash he could possibly muster, and some control over the flames, to cover his escape to a nearby entrance about 20 feet down the line. He runs at a dead sprint, using the flaming wings to give himself a slight speed boost. He reaches the entrance, opens it, and slams the door upon entering. He then retreats further into the bunker, finding an area where he'd be safe and be able to rest, while not being able to be taken by surprise.

Cannon stumbles into a room, leaning against what appears to be a grand piano (it's a reference, PM and I'll explain it). Switching to emergency power, he activates night vision and grabs another medkit, injecting the med foam into his chest to stop the bleeding. Once his vision cleared, he smiles. JJ will be an easy target in the dark, with his flaming armor. The Mandalorian draws his pistol and dagger, and with a quite chuckle sets off down the dark hallways.

Since JJ had already set off into the bunker, he had heard Cannon's chuckle. So, behind Cannon, the echoes of rapid footsteps could be heard. The blue flames could be seen moving quickly down the hallway; giving away the position. Then, suddenly, gouts of fire started going down the hallway, thrown by JJ.

Cannon dives back into the room, silently sliding behind the piano and slapping an explosive charge on the bottom.

Edited by jj1042: 11/23/2016 12:44:27 AMThe gouts of fire started to spread just about every where throughout the room as their source grew closer and closer. Eventually, the piano began to catch fire, and the flames began to nip at the explosive. Meanwhile, other flames going through the room could damage Cannon's armor if he stood directly in their way. Meanwhile, the footsteps entered the room, and then stopped around the middle. Suddenly, the flames flying around the room condensed into a pair of shotguns, but the piano was still on fire. Suddenly, instead of streams of fire, ashen pellets began to fly about the room. The shotguns could be seen twirling around, as they were constantly fired and their ammo was rapidly replenished. The pellets spread fire to whatever they hit, and it would be incredibly challenging to escape the room without being hit at least a few times.

Cannon turns and makes a dive for the door as soon as the weapons fired at it and turned away.

The rain of gunfire didn't stop, causing Cannon to take one in the calf. Even when he had jumped out of the room, it still continued. One of the shots grazed Cannon's shoulder. And yet, it still continued.

He roles out, hitting the detonator and blowing up the room.

The gunfire stops, but there are no screams, there is hardly any reaction at all. The flames created by the explosion then suddenly gather to one side, and turn blue. This reveals that there's no corpse of any kind. Then, JJ strides in from the other side of the room. "Ashen body double. Old trick of Cobalt's." He then motions with his hand, and all the fire that was remaining when he had taken control then rushed forward toward Cannon, threatening to incinerate him. While he was busy with that, JJ quickly found cover and waited for his opportunity to attack directly.

Cannon stumbles back around the corner, avoiding the flames and firing around tge corner.

Since he was in cover, JJ isn't damaged by the gunfire. He waits until Cannon has to reload, then runs out from around the corner. He casts the flame he uses a light ahead of him, and then uses the ash in the room to wrap around the corner Cannon's hiding behind. The ash covers his visor, temporarily blinding him. JJ then runs up to him, firing his shotguns at his chest again.

Seeing the oncoming fist after the roll, JJ attempts to stop the oncoming blow by blocking it with his arm. He's still tazed however, causing him to stumble backwards, nearly falling. He barely recovers however, shortening the action he can take now. JJ simply aims his shotgun at Cannon's stomach, so the spread'd still hit him even if he attempted to roll away again. JJ pulled the trigger, and more ashen pellets let fly.

Cannon drives his combat knife into JJ's chest as the shotgun fires, blowing him off his feet and into the wall.

"Nnngaah... Ow." JJ falls to one knee, holding the wound in his chest. He moves more ash to fill the wound, and stop the bleeding. "That... hurts you bastard." Still weak, JJ raises his shotgun again, and fires in an attempt to shoot Cannon before he can recover.

Cannon attempts to roll, taking enough of the blast to make him cry out as a pool of blood begins to form. He raises his gauntlet again, sending the last of his weaponry. A barage of explosive darts spray forth.

Seeing the gauntlet rise, JJ pushes the gauntlet to side using a stream of ash. The darts implant themselves in the wall next to JJ. "Oh, shit! Not these things again!" JJ dives to the right, and tries to at least partially form an ash wall to guard him in the moment before they explode.

Cannon coughs, reaching into his belt with shaking hands in an attempt to vent his pistol's heat build up so it can fire. He racks the slide back with shaking hands and raises it to fire.
