Maybe its because I'm fairly new to the game, but what was the problem on their end? Kill the boss, you might get a key?, everybodys happy and we all move on. How do they farm keys besides doing strikes on strikes on strikes? Pardon my poor knowledge of the game

I guess If they were to use the glitch to kill the boss at the same time they killed themselves, the boss could drop a key and they would restart back before the boss fight

And what happened was they essentially joined my lobby when I was half way through the strike... did none of the work, and then asked me to leave so they can farm.

It's alright. In order to farm the restorative mind, you need to die- and basically get a postmortem on the boss just as the timer on the wipe screen hits 1 second as it restarts the fight- but the loot the boss drops is still there for you to pick up. You can do it repeatedly, however players did that with Omnigul and Bungie patched it so you can't farm her anymore as she will only drop loot once perk strike even if you wipe to try and farm her. So if you have the method and timing right... you can forever farm almost any strike boss.

oh wow, didn't know that was possible. Happend to us on Aksis Phase 2 the other day, dropped loot but raid died, had to do it again, but no loot :( Thanks for the reply
