I wonder all the time in Destiny why this hasnt been implemented.
When you get killed in Destiny, you don't know whether the guy killed you with:
• Gun skill
• Luck
• Lag
All the time I am left with a shocked face in the Crucible. Not because I learn to improve on my next engagement, not because I am noticing my mistakes, but because they killed me and it shouldn't have happened. Was it because my primary is worse than theirs? Was it because of lag? Was it my mistake? I can never tell in the amounts of bs that goes on in a match.
If there was a killcam, I could pinpoint how he killed me and whether it was luck, his skill or my mistake. I could improve upon my engagements for next time, thus making my next engagement a lot more controlled (rather than a blind and tilted rage after a Melee somehow one shot me)
This would fix a lot of the issues in Crucible already, so you won't get fooled by that Matador in the corner again, or that hardscoper at the back of the map. You can see their position, how they got the kill on you and what you did to get in that position. Sometimes watching back your gameplay makes you notice a mistake, and this would only help it further by seeing how the enemy killed you.
Plus as a bonus, people won't be able to teabag you for a whole 7 seconds, so you can cut rage in Destiny by half.
Please Bungie, consider this as a potential idea. I truly believe this would help Crucible for the long run, without buffing or nerfing any guns.
Before you start, I don't care about K/D. I play for fun, but I also want to improve as a player.

Also yes, killcam is similar to how Overwatch does it, but I do believe it would be beneficial even if it is making it "similar". I think they are very different in their own rights.
Just record your playtime.
-
My opinion - it won't happen, and it shouldn't happen. It won't because a kill cam would be constant video proof of the lag/latency that has broken crucible, handed to every player by Bungie, multiple times per match, while Bungie is busy doing their damnedest to deny that the problems exist and ignore the players who keep trying to make Bungie face and fix it. It shouldn't because, even if the lag/latency is fixed, what kill cams do more than anything is give free recon to the dead guy. That just defeats the purpose of positioning, stealth, flanking, etc.
-
I think the reason they don't do this is because there are way too many bullshit kills in the game.
-
There should be a teabag cam
-
It's a waste. You probably just got outplayed.
-
Kilcam should be in every gamemode, except the hardcore genre.
-
Yay no hate mail from this:http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Untamed%20Chance/video/23857149
-
Pretty sure kill cam would break bungies severs (what little they have) and cause even more lagging
-
No Naha, bungie wants to see the community tbag each other and show off the emotes the guardians purchased for 9.99... no time for kill cam...
-
-
I would always see the bullet over the corner so through a wall
-
No, I want people to see me when I tbag them
-
And make them optional, to appease the little whiney bitches who would drop the game if they were added. Completely Disabled in Trials and Inferno modes of course.
-
Bump this now.
-
I would hate to see them added personally.
-
There should be a tea cam.
-
I agree with the idea of kill cams. More so the idea that we as players could further critique ourselves though.
-
-
That would help to see if people actually killed you with skill
-
I agree. I play Overwatch a lot and coming back to Destiny with no killcams caught me off guard.
-
I enjoy people seeing me tbag them
-
Clever Dragon would be the only thing you see on the kill cam and right trigger jamming.

well first have to have dedicated servers to cut down on lag. After that yea maybe but have option to have it or dont.
