The Alpha "An entire month, and nothing?!" The grizzly man held the pommel of his cane tight in the cold woods. His breath becoming visible with the thin layer of snow on the ground of the now bleak grove. Tywinn adjusted the fur of his coat around his neck, his eyebrows furrowed on Rorek, who stood in front of him. "I've been training you. Teaching you patience, control. But in return....nothing?!" • The old man chuckled lowly, as he began to dig the bottom of his cane into the snow, clearly putting his anger into the cane rather then outwards into the boy. "Rorek. I have lived...very...very long. In my experience I had to know who was telling the truth, and who was lying to me. Are you lying to me...Boy?" Rorek felt a shiver go up his spine. He felt like that no matter what he said, the old man already knew the correct answer. But would he play dumb? Or admit the deity had taken the palace in the mountains? >Tell the Truth >Lie

 • He tilted his head, a look of pondering confusion. "...So...the boy DOES know something. Tell me, Rorek. What has the Fierce Deity been up to these past weeks?"

 • "Mmm? It really is not. To a fool, at least." The man twirled his cane around, returning to his natural cool and gruff state as he pointed to the stump in front of him, gesturing Rorek to sit as he himself took a seat.

 • "Obsession...? I wouldn't call it obsession. More like....Cautious Pro-activeness." His long words and questioning matter were an effective way to dodge the question Rorek had originally asked. "But the deity is forming a new...faction. Of sorts. Yes?"

 • "And YOU have a shitty attitude." The man stood up, and Rorek soon realized that he towered over him. "You are not in your place to ask questions I do not believe you are ready to know the answer too. I will train you, I will make you a warrior who can not only use a blade but his MIND. But to do so, I need to know you are capable of handling truths in their most refined forms. You. Are not. Ready." Suddenly the shuffling of crinkled leaves and snow attracted Roreks attention, the sound coming from behind him.

 • Out of the trees stumbled the blue hat skull kid. He was panting, and in a panic. Tywinn quickly walked past Zane to see to the child. "What is wrong child?" The skull kid gasped for breath, then answered. "Our...sister! She was kidnapped!"

 • "It wasn't just one! It was a bunch of people! With brown coats and sharp weapons!" Tywinn stood beside Rorek, now more gruff then ever. "Well, boy, looks like this is where we will be picking up your lesson today." He picked up his cane, holding it in the middle as he stormed past skull kid and into the bush. Skull kid looked up at Rorek for a moment, before running after him.

 • "Anyone who is sadistic enough to think they carry a price tag..." As the two made their way through the woods, Rorek could hear the talking of multiple men in the distance. Tywinn turned his direction towards the noise and continued to walk towards the voices. After only a short few moments, Rorek saw men through the trees. Four in total, on a path. Tywinn continued to head straight towards them however, and they had no idea he was there...

 • Tywinn charged through the woods and onto the path, his composure immediately changing as he bent his back slightly forward and leaned on the cane in front of him. The four bandits eyed him, and seemed to be telling him off. "This has nothing to do with you old man! Get lost!" "Oh but it does! Say...where is my grandson? ROREK! GET OUT HERE!"

 • "Ah, yes. But I could not stand that snow for one bit longer! My ankles are soaked!" In between the four bandits, the pink hat wearing skull kid was tied up in a net, which was hanging from the tree. The four men looked at eachother, then one stepped forward. "A'right. That's great an all. You can continue down the path now...." "Ah...but who is this?" Tywinn stepped closer to the net, and the closest bandit drew his blade ever so slightly. "Step back old man!"

 • The bandits chuckled a bit. "Oh Rorek, you stupid child! I am simply talking to these men! Isn't that right boys?" One of the other bandits raised his eyebrow. "Ya, sure it is. Great talk. Mind walking away now? We have some business to attend to." "Ah...but so do I!" Suddenly Tywinn let go of his cane, as he did so the pommel slide from the shaft, revealing it was connected to a green and white rapier that was sheathed within the cane. He quickly lunges forward, impaling the nearest bandit in the chest. The bandit squealed like a pig in surprise as Tywinn slid the blade out and cut his throat. Blood spewed from the bandits throat as he squeezed his neck to hold it in, resulting in him falling to the ground. The other bandits drew their blades, the further most one drawing a knife. The bandit on Tywinn's left charged him, and the old man pushed Rorek back with his left hand as the bandit swung. The white haired elder quickly slid past the blade, and stabbed his rapier up into the bandits gullet and through the back of his skull. As the impaled bandits eyes twitched and his soul faded away the third bandit ran in a ferocious manner, his dagger gleaming as he tried to cut at Tywinn. But the Warrior slid his blade out of the man's skull, and twirled towards the dagger wielded who flimsily swung his knife at tywinns chest. Tywinn grabbed his hand with his open left, rendering him disabled as the fur coated Tywinn drove the rapier through the man's eye and through his brain. The man went limp on the blade as Tywinn withdrew his sword from the dead skull and the bandit fell lifelessly to the ground. The fourth bandit looked in terror, and turned his heals and ran. He began to make some distance, but then Tywinn picked up the dagger on the corpse in front of him. He raised the dagger past his head, then threw his arm forward. The knife spiralled through the air and stabbed the runner straight in the leg, sending him crashing and screaming into the ground. He did this all, with Rorek watching.
