The first arrow misses, hitting the nearby rooftop. By the time JJ has the second arrow notched, Nathaniel's revolvers are being raised. JJ quickly whirls around and crouches, letting the shield on his back take most of the shots. However, a bullet does hit JJ in the left foot, blowing off his middle toe. "[b]GAAAHH[/b]!" When the revolvers ran out of ammo, JJ spun on his heels, with the second arrow already notched. He aimed again, although a bit hastily, and fires. The arrow misses down and to the left of Nathaniel's chest, instead hitting him in the right thigh. JJ put up his bow and retrieved his sword and shield. The red and black auras are even stronger now, and seeming to take shape. "I can't... let it happen here..." JJ was mumbling to himself, but it was still audible. He then begins an ungainly run towards Nathaniel, shield up and slightly tripping thanks to the missing toe.
