[i]Pan goes silent for a while before answering.[/i]
"Don't be upset, father. Please, just don't be upset. Everything will be fine. I may have just panicked a little too much when trying to heal you is all."

"Pan. I won't be angry. Just tell me what happened."

[i]Pan cries a little before lifting her head. She opens her eye lids to reveal solid, dark red eyes.[/i]

"Christ, kiddo... I-I'm sorry... Can you still see?"

[i]Pan doesn't answer as she continues to sob uncontrollably.[/i]

[b]I hold her close, and try to get her to calm down.[/b] "It's okay. Just tell me. Can you see still?"

[i]Pan's voice is extremely shaky.[/i] "Yes...and no."
-
"What does that mean, Pan? Can you or can you not see?"
-
"I see it. The pain, the sadness, the guilt, the sorrow...all of it. I can see into the chaos and it's driving me mad. All of the voices are whispering in my ear and I can't tell what they're saying because there's so many of them. I can see the chaos energy around me."

"Then do you wanna know what you can do? Close them. Now that I know, you can close them. If there's any way for me to help, tell me."

[i]Pan closes her eyes and she sighs like the world had been taken off her shoulders.[/i] "I need help, father. I can't live like this."

"How can I help, Pan? Tell me. Anything at all. I'll make it happen."

"Maybe..." [i]Pan stops and looks around with her eyes open.[/i] "It's too late. I can sense him, father. An agent is coming for me."

"A what? Is he coming to hurt you? I'll murder that fûcker if he is."

[i]Pan looks around with a confused expression.[/i] "He...He seems familiar, like I've known him my whole life. I can't tell what his intentions are, but I doubt they're peaceful. He has lots of built up rage, I can feel it."

"I know some people. We'll protect you. You don't have to worry. He doesn't stand a chance."

[i]Pan shakes her head.[/i] "Just don't kill him on sight, even if he attacks."

"Fine. Won't kill him, but he will not hurt you. At all. If he does, all bets are off."

[i]Pan nods to agree.[/i] "Fine, father. Now, we should get some rest."

"Preferably not in my room, though. That's kinda blood soaked at the moment. Have to get the cleaners in there. The cleaners are the privates, by the way."

"Well, I guess you could sleep in the tree with me."

"Kid, I only got one arm. I ain't climbing a tree. Won't be able to."

"Then we can sleep at the base of the tree."

"Alright. Sounds good to me. God knows I need some damned rest every once in a while. Used to believe in that old song, as it says. Ain't no rat for the wicked. Well, guess I ain't wicked then, am I?"

[i]Pan laughs and starts to stand up, a hand on her side.[/i] "Lets go, father."

[b]I try to get up with my one arm, but I can't.[/b] "Little help?"
