The blade freezes in mid-air, Sawyer wrapping his strong [i]tendron[/i] around the hilt. The vine that grabbed his leg was snapped by him just squirming, as his strength was greater than that of the chafing vine. He stumbles away, nearing Ama steadily.

She sighs somewhat dissapointed "You're not quite understanding this are you? I haven't been in the mist the entire time." A second shot cracks through the air from some distance. It's trajectory scanned in on the target, a volatile flower in a fog of plant life.

Sawyer breaks through the fog despite a thick layer of foliage, some of which living and attempting to swallow him whole. He emerges on the other side of the coliseum, vigilantly scanning the arena for Ama.
