SOLDIER FIRST BRACKET
"WHO'S THE BIGGER GUN?! I GUESS TODAY WE FIND OUT! BECAUSE WE GOT A CANNON, WHO IS NOT BOBBA FETT, AND A MORTAR!!! AND A CANNON! WHO LIKE I SAID! IS NOT BOBA FETT! NO WAY!"
Mortar stands on the west side of the colosseum, and opposite of him stands Cannon. The holographic projection filled with multiple symbols which change quickly like a slot machine pops up on the centre of the arena. The projection stops on a pirate ship. The entire arena floods with water, but massive pirate ships appear under Cannon and Mortar. Each fighter on his own. Three more appear across the arena, separating the two. In the water, fins from
Sharks prowl.
Then, another slot projection takes the centre of the arena. Landing on a tornado. Suddenly a massive tornado destroys the centre ship, sucking it up. This makes the tornado turn into a cyclone as the ships begin to sail around the vortex, nothing able to stop them. Now, there were two ships separating the combatants. As well as a tornado.
The Deity gets on the mic.
"FIGHT!"

He forms his sword, still four and a half feet long, still dark blue, still blazing with ominous emerald green flames. He sighs a little, standing and getting in a defensive stance* Alright, time to advance further than last time!

*His eyes widen as he ducks for cover, forming an iron ball and hurling it at Cannon* [spoiler]Wait, Deity... Did you pair me with him because our names are similar?[/spoiler]

Cannon sprints forward, dodging the metal ball and diving for cover behind the main mast. "That the best you got, mate?" He asks as the slaps the mast before popping around and firing another burst.

*he is still behind cover as the ball explodes, sending fiery shrapnel towards him* I'm just holding back newbie! Don't want the guy I fight next to learn about me.

Cannon raises his arm to shield his head from the incoming shrapnel, allowing it to ping off his armor. "Well, that'll cost you the battle, mate." He fires an HE rocket from his wrist, the missile slamming ito Mortar's cover and obliterating it in a shower of splinters and shrapnel.

*He is dazed slightly as he falls, but regroups and falls into the water. The sharks aren't a threat to him, as they are simply animals that are weak to his blade. Beyond visibility underwater, Mortar begins to swim over to Cannon's ship*

With a series of eye motions, Cannon switches to thermal imagery. Reaching into his pouch he draws several thermal detonators and cgucks them into the water, one by one.

*Mortar seems surprised at the thermal detonators and swims deeper, however with all the fish and sharks in the water it is difficult to find Mortar's exact position.*

The detonators explode, each one flash vaporizing several meters of water and sending out intense shockwaves.

*Mortar gets knocked back by the shockwaves, but seems more annoyed. His main tactic of evasion won't work in the water, so he needs to worry about BOTH his offence and defense. He forms a large iron ball in front of him, and it flies out of the water, aimed right at cannon*

Cannon's eyes widen beneath his helmet as he immediately hits his jetpack thrusters, launching into the air and engaging evasive maneuvers.

*Mortar's head surfaces briefly, watching him as he does this* Dammit. *he swims to Cannon's ship, touching it and dissolving through it to the deck, and forms more iron balls to fling at him*

Cannon circles around in the air. "Time to up the stakes." He angles himself towards Mortar, and unleashes the anti-tank missile from his jetpack, sending it straight at the ship.

*He attempts to quickly dissolve into the deck but fails and is launched into the water. His head pops out over the surface only for a moment* Damn... Pleh, pleh! salt water... Damn you cannon! *He disappears under the water once more*

Cannon eatches silently as the missile hits the now abandoned ship, easily blowing it in half. As the ship begins to sink, he flys back to Mortar's ship and lands on the mane mast, keeping his rifle at the ready.

*What he doesn't know is that Mortar is swimming really fast until he gets to his own ship and dissolves through it, reforming right behind Cannon and grabbing the back of his head* Oohoohohh, revenge, I like that. *He suddenly knees him in the back multiple times, then throws him off the mast, forming some iron balls to fly at him*
