SOLDIER FIRST BRACKET

The deity is cut off as Tesuto takes the mic.
"And we have Sketch! YOUR sensei!"
Sketch stands on the west side of the colosseum, and opposite of him stands Xavier. The holographic projection filled with multiple symbols which change quickly like a slot machine pops up on the centre of the arena. The projection stops on a tree. The entire arena turns into a dark gloomy forest, dense with trees.
Then, another slot projection takes the centre of the arena. Landing on a picture of a man running on the wall. Suddenly the combatants feel as if they can run on surfaces they could not before(YOU can run on walls. In this case, trees.).
The Deity gets on the mic.
"FIGHT!"

*Sketch is wearing his slightly metallic duster and a silver backpack. Strapped to his side is a sheathe with a sword that has a silver hilt. Attached to the side of his backpack is an SMLE MK III sniper rifle.* "OH MY FRICKIN' GOD THIS IS PERFECT!!!" *He runs to a tree, jumping and running up the side on all fours. He disappears into the shadows of the leaves. He suddenly leaps from one tree to another, reappearing the second the light hits him and disappearing when he reaches the shadows of the next tree. Suddenly some sort of small canister is thrown from one of the trees just before he leaps out of it, disappearing into another off to Xavier's right. The canister explodes when it hits the ground, filling almost the entire area in a thick cloud of smoke.*

"Smoke? Greaaaat. Just great." [i]He pulled out [u]Oblivion[/u], his antimatter rifle. He fired at one spot at the trees, while jumping from tree to tree. The plan was to create a gravity well to clear all the smoke, but of course, Sketch does not know it.[/i]

He can hear the scrabbling of claws and a tooth suddenly hits him in his right eye as Sketch grabs his left arm. Sketch reappears with a bloody nose, glaring at him.* "Not cool man, I mean seriously dude."

"Sorry, but not really." [i]He fired the last few antimatter crystals at the tree, the supercombine explosion generating a gravity well. He attempted to wrestle Sketch away from him, kicking him into the gravity well.[/i]

Edited by Skatch142: 11/15/2016 2:38:36 AM*Sketch digs his razor sharp claws into Xavier's arm, using Xavier's own weight to top him from being pushed into the well. He smiles happily as he then jumps backward off the branch, pulling Xavier off with him. Sketch lands on the ground with a loud thud, letting go of him and then disappearing into the mist once more. The mist is quickly starting to seem thinner as the gravity wells work like Xavier had planned.*

[i]He quickly got up, pulling out his pistol and switching the bullet type to incendiary. He started moving again, jumping from tree to tree. He then fired three bullets at one of the trees, setting it on fire.[/i]

*Suddenly a plume of flames appears from the ground on his left. In the light through the now clearing smoke, he can see Sketch holding a flamethrower and lighting the tree next to Xavier's on fire. He holds the flamethrower with his right hand as he draws the silver-hilted sword with his left. The sword has a long, blue blade. Despite the heat from the flamethrower, an icy mist still surrounds it.* "Hey, you wanna take a break and eat some cookies? I have a whole back of them in my backpack. Leyla made them, they're a-maze-ing!"

[spoiler]This may be a ultimate cheese tactic, but...[/spoiler] [i]Xavier used his ability to become one with the shadows, sneaking from tree to tree. He pulled out his mag-powered rifle as he took cover behind one of the trees. Aiming carefully at what could be the fuel canister of the flamethrower, he fired at it.[/i]

*The bullet hits the canister, passing straight through and causing a leak. The flamethrower disappears and Sketch turns towards Xavier.* "Now look, I'm trying to be nice and you're just going and trying to blow me up by shooting the fuel canister? Well, tell me when you're ready for a cookie break." *Sketch suddenly swings the sword, a sub-zero blast of a air and ice hitting Xavier head-on.*

*Sketch leaps out of the way, letting out a loud yelp. The bullet hits him halfway down the length of his tail. He falls to the ground, throwing down another smoke grenade and disappearing.* "S@&$ man! Not the f@&$ing tail! That really is just wrong!" *Xavier gets a light kick to the leg which was intended to be a hard kick to the face.* "How do you balance without one of these?!" *He hears Sketch stumble off but the direction is unclear.*

[i]He stumbled a bit from the light kick, quickly regaining his footing. He started to look around again.[/i] "Let's see how you like this..." [i]He threw a [u]soul fire[/u] towards a random direction, to hopefully divert Sketch's attention. He then pulled out his antimatter rifle and started firing at a single tree again.[/i]

*He sees both of these, wondering what he's doing as he stabs his sword into the ground, ice rapidly spreading across the ground as he does so.*

[i]He cheeses the system, quickly turning into shadow and moving away from the rapidly advancing ice. He reforms in another place, and started firing his crystals at the tree. The supercombine is almost finished, and would explode at soon as Sketch makes his move.[/i]

*The ice continues spreading across the ground, covering everything and making it extremely slippery. Sketch notices the glowing through the smoke and touches the back of his neck with his left hand. A katana with a blade that gives off a white glow forms in it.*

[i]The supercombine completes, most likely starting to pull Sketch into the gravity well and clear the smoke. Sketch also notices that a couple grenades have been launched at random locations.[/i]

*He falls down, digging his claws into the ground so we won't slide across the ice. The ice has now spread past Xavier's feet, making it very hard to stand. Seeing the smoke starting to clear, Sketch throws down another smoke grenade as more smoke fills the area. He sheathes the blue bladed sword and runs towards Xavier on all fours, holding the katana.*

[i]Seeing Sketch running towards him, he pulled out his Arc Blade. He started running towards Sketch, slowly but then getting gradually faster due to the ice. He then suddenly slides, the ice giving him less friction as he draws up a slash.[/i]

*He blocks the blade with his katana before then slashing at Xavier's stomach with his other hand.* [spoiler]By the way, his claws are sharp enough to cut through steel.[/spoiler]

[i]He grimaces as a deep gash is made. After sliding past him, he stood up, uneasily. He put away his blade, pulling out his grenade launcher and firing at Sketch's last known position.[/i]

*Sketch starts running on all fours back in the direction he saw Xavier slide in. He blends into the fog as he runs, looking confused as a metallic object passes about seven feet over his head. He wonders what it was for a second but then continues running in Xavier's direction.*

[i]He would slowly succumb to his wounds if he didn't heal them. He brung out his Psionic amp, charging up a [u]Soul fire[/u]. Once Sketch got close enough, he would strafe to the side and release the energy blast at point blank range.[/i]

*Sketch sees the soul fire through the smoke and stops. He pulls his SMLE off of his backpack, taking aim at the light.*

[i]Seeing that he didn't come, he dispersed the energy. He then started to [u]Rush[/u] towards Sketch's last known position at great speeds.[/i]
