[b]I am... Startled, to say the least. How the hell did I not notice these before?[/b] "Kid... What the hell happened to you? You're all beaten to hell. Here, let me help." [b]I take out some healing powder, and rub it on one or two of the cuts, and hand some to her.[/b] "Put this on the cuts and bruises. It'll heal 'em right up. My own special recipe."

[i]When leaning in you also notice how a lot of the cuts are infected. Artemis hands it back.[/i] "I don't deserve it."

"Jesus Christ, kid! Who did this to you? Nobody but those Legion bastards deserve this!" [b]The healing powder would take away the infections too, but damn... She was a mess. I continue the treatment whether she liked it or not.[/b]

[i]She quickly backed away.[/i] "I said I don't deserve it."

"Kid, whoever told you you don't deserve stuff like this is a goddamned fool. Even if your clan despises you, I don't. Let me help."

"If every person that did something bad to me didn't deserve my help then I'd have left my entire platoon to die once. I didn't leave them to die. I don't tend to hold grudges for petty stuff like that."

[i]Artemis' tail covers her face as she turns around and lifts her shirt. Three infected claw marks run down her whole back. The claws must've been massive considering the cuts.[/i]

"Jesus Christ! What the hell did they do to you? That's... That's fûcked up! Damn... Hold on. I've got something that can make you completely better, okay? Will you let me use it?"

[i]Artemis seems unsure as she puts her shirt back down and continues to cover her face.[/i] "I...I don't know."

"It'll get rid of those bruises and cuts and those nasty infections. You do know that those will kill you if left unchecked, right? Besides, least I could do. I did kind of punch you in the face..."

[i]She looks at the ground.[/i] "Yeah, but I deserved to be punch and then some."

"What is wrong with you? Who's been telling you those things? That's... It's despicable. Whoever is saying it doesn't deserve to know you, Artemis. They're evil. If it's you telling yourself that, then I think I know who's making you think that way. It's your father, isn't it? Jesus, I don't even know him and I already despise the guy... Just let me help you out, okay? You don't deserve what's happened to you... It all just seems so horrible..."

"This is gonna sting for a second." [b]I pull out a stimpack from my left coat pocket, and inject her with it. All her wounds begin to slowly close up, until they are no more.[/b] "There. All better."

[i]She smiles weakly, still staring at the ground.[/i] "Thanks."

[b]I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.[/b] "I want you to know that you don't have to put up with what they do to you, alright? They don't deserve someone like you, Artemis. If they base their opinions on the fact that you can't mate, then they're despicable. Come live at the Dojo, Artemis. You're safe here. Safe from the people that would hurt you."

[i]She pushes your hand away and starts to walk off.[/i] "I can't. The code says we all stick together. I have to go back. I'm already late, I don't want my punishment to get worse than it already is."
