"Well, if no one hired you, then why did you do it?"

"I needed money for food."

"Why didn't you say so? I have a surplus of food. Do you have any allergies?"

[i]She shakes her head.[/i] "No, but meat is prefered."

"Ok, one second." [b]Fortis flies off to his ship. About a minute later, he comes back carrying a large crate of assorted meat.[/b] "Here you go. Don't worry about the weight, the box is made from a special weight-reducing material. I hope this helps."

[i] She dives into the box. Within a minute she comes out of the now empty box.[/i]

"Well, you certainly have a large appetite."

[i]She nods with a smile.[/i] "Yeah, I don't get to eat much."

"How did you eat a whole crate of food without gaining any body mass?"

[i]Artemis shrugs.[/i] "Werewolf biology."

"I have a friend who would be very interested in you."

"Yeah? Why's that?"

"He studies exotic creature's biology. If he finds a gene he likes, he uses it to make mutants or chemical weapons."

[i]She gets terrified.[/i] "Y-You're not going to give me to your friend, are you?"

"Not unless you wanted to. He treats most of his test subjects quite well, it is only the prisoners of war that he... mistreats..."

[i]She shakes her head.[/i] "No. No. I'm good."

"Oh, ok." [b]Fortis speaks as if he were surprised.[/b] "Do you need anything else?"

[i]She shakes her head again.[/i] "No, I'm good. Thank you."
