"What? Not hungry all of a sudden?" She asks, wondering why she didn't get any food, before pulling out a wrapper with a chocolate chip cookie inside it. "Here. A little something for yourself for now."
-
Artemis shakes her head as she looks at the ground. "I don't deserve it." She pulls out the rider gun. She had apparently stolen it back at some point. "I'm sorry."
-
"You know what?" She says giving back the gun. "If you want to sell something...then I'll give you something." *Kara slides a card into the driver.* [Attack Ride: Gambol Shroud!] *She shoots the trigger at a nearby table, as a replica of Blake Belladonna's Gambol Shroud laid on the table, along with about a month's supply of food.* *The card returns to her, drained of its power.* "There, Artemis. Take those. That Gambol Shroud...consider it either as a better seller, or a weapon for you." Kara replies. "I'll wait."
-
Artemis looked at all the stuff, but didn't make a move towards it. Her tail once again covered her face as she spoke with a soft voice. "B-But I stole from you."
-
"Trust me..." she says, whispering into Artemis's ear, "I used to do the same thing too." *She simply then laid on her motorcycle, waiting for the possible response.*
-
Artemis just got on the motorcycle with tears in her eyes. "I don't deserve it."
-
*She simply gets off, and looks at her.* "Look...I understand why you steal. At one point or another, I had to do that just so that my sister and I could live a decent life. And I want your family to live a decent life. Look...take all this stuff that I'm giving you. You deserve it. Just trust me...you do." Kara explains, looking into Artemis's eyes with her own brown eyes. If she would've looked closely, it would've seen war, suffering, and some form of regret within those brown eyes.
-
Artemis looks Kara in the eye. In Artemis' eye Kara can easily see a life of abuse and torment. "My family aren't the ones who need the food. I do."

Edited by A Stormy Dio: 11/9/2016 2:07:34 AM"I know that. That's why I'm giving you this cookie. To hold you over until you get there. Oh, and by the way, burlap sack is full of food for yourself." She replies, putting the cookie in Artemis's hand, as she went and put the Gambol Shround in one of Artemis's hands, and proceeds to get the rest of the food into the burlap sack.
-
Artemis holds the cookie to her chest as she starts to cry. "P-Please! I don't deserve any of this! I stole from you! You should be hitting me, not helping!"
-
"But that would be morally wrong, wouldn't it? I'd prefer to help you, not hinder you. I mean, sure, I do get bored and wait for a fight in the Dojo...still dosen't mean that I'm willing to harm anyone like you. We both struggled...I struggled, you're struggling...we shouldn't have to suffer like that." She responds, proceeding to hug Artemis.
-
Artemis seems shocked at first, but hugs back. Tears race down her face. "Th-Thank you."
-
"Only for a person like you." She responds , packing the rest of the stuff into her burlap sack. "Now...are you sure you don't want to crash here?" Kara asks.
-
Artemis sighs. "I should get back to the den. I'm already really late and I don't want my punishment to get any worse."
-
"Fine, then." She says, getting on the motorcycle and beginning to ride it. As she did, she pulled up a wireless phone, and called her younger sister, Keira, and started to speak to her in Japanese. "Keira, follow my tracker" Kara started with. "Um...why?" Keira replied. "I think we might have a case of child abuse going on here. Contact the Dojo's troops just in case." Kara replies.
-
Artemis didn't understand a single word as she clung to Kara's back.
-
"So...where is this 'den'?" She asks, wondering where her home was.
-
"On the mountain side over there." She points to a mountain in the distance.
-
*She drives up the mountaintop, eventually arriving at the den.* "Well...here you go." She says, getting off and unloading the burlap sack for her.
-
Edited by Cthulhu Agent: 11/9/2016 2:37:32 AMThe 'den' appears to just be a large 20 ft high cave entrance with a few bones of several large animals laying around. Artemis hops off the bike and picks up the bag. "Bye and thanks!"
-
"No prob." She said. *Secretly, when Artemis disappeared into the den, Kara slid a card into the DiendDriver, while the motorcycle was left inconspicuously.* [Attack Ride: Invisible!] She turns invisible, as she walks into the den herself, being very silent. She wanted to see why Artemis had feelings...of abuse in her eyes.
-
They walked through the cave for a while, natural light could be seen from an exit. After going through the exit a large clearing opened up. A massive plot of grassy land completely surrounded by steep rock walls. In a circle around the clearing were well built houses made of rather advaned tech and materials. There were hundreds of people going about their daily business. Every single one of them had ears and a tail like Artemis, but of varying colors. They were all also far better fed than Artemis and better dressed with expensive clothing. Artemis began to walk towards the center of the clearing and as she did so it was clear that no one liked her. Some people just gave her hateful looks while others called out terrible insults at her, making fun of her flat chest, ragged clothing, and something about being a runt.
-
*She decided to wait to see how far this whole thing would go., and continues to follow her.*
-
She slowly makes her way to the center. In the center of it all were several 15 ft tall on average, bipedal wolves working on some kind of construction. The largest one was 18ft tall, black fur just like Artemis, and a necklace made up of bones from several kinds of large animals. He stopped what he was doing and spoke to Artemis with a voice comparable to thunder. "You're late!" Artemis flinched before slowly kneeling and responding. Her eyes never looked up from the ground. "I'm sorry for being late, father. I await punishment." Artemis' father slowly circles her with a growl. Suddenly, he looks straight at where the invisible Kara is standing. "Reveal yourself, outsider! There's no need for violence."
-
*She sighs, decloaking herself.* she looks towards Artemis, before looking toward her dad.* "If you hurt her...I'll make sure all of you suffer." She responds, a hint of darkness and seriousness within her voice.
