[i][u]The Crater of Two, Tatakai[/u][/i]

[i][u]Jupiter and Ceres[/u][/i]
[b]As the brilliant sun shines upon the alien land of Tatakai, it eventually came across one of the newer locations caused almost a week ago, due to a tragic event involving the death of a loved one; the Crater of Two, a mile wide crater that spanned across where trees and deep bush once was. The ground and earth was bare and decimated, as if annihilated by explosives of a high magnitude. Whatever terrible event had occurred here, it had lead someone to do something like this.[/b]
[b]But just as the sun let loose its light upon the barren landscape, two flying objects began to block out its light. Both of the objects were space shuttles, crafted out of titanium and ceramic and flying straight towards the earth of Tatakai. One of the shuttles was much larger than the other, being about 14 feet tall while the other was about 6 and a half feet tall. Suddenly, both of the shuttles crashed into the earth, tearing through rock and dirt as they eventually slowed themselves, each planting into the earth like massive steel seeds.[/b]
[b]Then, a booming deep voice resonated from the larger shuttle of the two, the doors beginning to open...[/b]
[i]"FULL SYSTEM ANALYSIS:[/i]
[i]WEAPONRY: CHARGED.[/i]
[i]SHIELDS: DEPLOYED.[/i]
[i]ARMOR: PRISTINE CONDITION.[/i]
[i]LOCATION: TATAKAI.[/i]
[i]DIRECTIVE: IDENTIFY AND LOCATE CERES."[/i]
[b]The doors to the shuttle then opened, and out came a literal giant of a robot. Standing at a terrifying height of eleven foot ten, the hulking monster of steel, titanium, adamantium and ceramic plating turned his head towards the shuttle that had landed beside him, his cyclops eye staring straight towards it and beginning to scan it. After a moment, a slight "ding!" escaped the head of the robot, followed by his deep voice. [/b]
[i]"DIRECTIVE: COMPLETE! CERES: DISCOVERED. NEW DIRECTIVE: WAIT."[/i]
[b]Then, suddenly, the massive beast of metal plopped down onto the barren earth, his eye staring up into the sky. Only one thought was going through his head as he sat there..[/b]
[b]Ceres.[/b]

[i]Behind the robot, a voice. Not a fun and upbeat one or a joking one, rather just a voice that was silent and weak that was hidden by a façade of cockiness and calm, coming from the lips of what sounded to be a southern woman. She wasn't too close, she wasn't too far, she was just at the right distance to shout over and speak to the robot from a fair distance, so maybe ten meters. "Not every day you just see a robot fall from orbit." [/i]

[b]The giant of a robot slowly turned his body to then face the woman that spoke, the beaming red cyclops eye staring straight towards her as if scanning her. Turning gears and clicking noises sounded from its head and body, as a slight "ding!" escaped its metallic head.[/b] [i]"HUMAN: IDENTIFIED. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE NAME, OR PROTOCOL TWO SHALL INITIATE."[/i] [b]The booming voice of the robot sounded as he only stared patiently towards the woman, red light engulfing her body almost completely. He had all day, it seemed.[/b]

[i]The female that stood behind the robotic hulking figure was a slender brunette one, her tanned body and face with it's emerald shaded eyes looking into the red eye of the robot, as a smile crossed her angular face. Her body had a grey jumpsuit with a set of red sleeves, skin tight to show off her assets as a distraction to men in combat and as a way to get her way in many conversations, and a black sheath for a sword at her back. "Jessica, Jessica Williams." [/i]

[i]"JESSICA WILLIAMS: IDENTIFIED. HELLO; JESSICA WILLIAMS! I AM JUPITER, BROTHER OF CERES. QUESTION: IS THIS PLANET "TATAKAI"?"[/i] [b]Being a robotic organism, Jupiter's protocol literally forced him to not be sexually attracted to anything, although he had the capabilities of liking and even loving things in a friendly way. This could be seen as he spoke in his loud, booming voice, as he asked the woman about the name of the location. He needed confirmation. If the shuttles had landed on the wrong planet, it would've been an instant failure.[/b]

Edited by Haknir: 11/4/2016 12:11:14 PM[b]Opsrey went quickly to the site of the crash to see just what happened. Behind him, HIUAA followed at a distance to also see what was going on. Osprey's armor covered him completely and he had his mask on which covered his whole face with his glowing yellow visor as the only opening. He was prepared for anything. About a couple hundred yards back, stood HIUAA watching Osprey approach the shuttle, keeping him covered. He was wearing his new, red armor which seemed to have many enhancements built into it. His rifle was set for a high range shot, ready to fire at whatever stepped out of the shuttle, if necessary. Osprey got very close after it opened and saw Jupiter. He was speechless for a moment.[/b] "... who are you?" He said a bit nervously.

[b]The hulking figure of Jupiter slowly turned around to face Osprey, his singular red cyclops eye beginning to scan the one that had just arrived. The light shined over Osprey's chest as information began to seep into Jupiter's robotic mind: information about weaponry, armor, biology, the tone of his voice...afterwards, the robotic organism decided.[/b] [i]"TATAKAI ORGANISM: IDENTIFIED. NAME/ALIAS: REQUESTED IMMEDIATELY. REFUSAL IN ANSWERING WILL INITIATE SECONDARY PROTOCOL."[/i]

[b]Osprey replied, somewhat cautiously,[/b] "My name is Pandion Haliaetus, but I just go by Osprey... who are you?"

[i]"OSPREY: IDENTIFIED. ALIAS: I AM JUPITER, BROTHER OF CERES. NEW DIRECTIVE: LEARN ABOUT "OSPREY". Where are you from, Osprey?"[/i] [b]Jupiter's booming voice lowered slightly, although it still had a certain loudness to it.[/b]

"I'm from a different planet... earth..."

[i]"EARTH: IDENTIFIED.[/i] [i]What was Earth like?"[/i] [b]This would take a while.[/b]

[b]Osprey sighed and retracted his mask.[/b] "It's a little bit like this place, but with more limits on what's possible and impossible."

[b]It took a little longer for the smaller shuttle's doors to slide open. Whatever was inside it was taking longer to prepare. Around ten minutes later, the doors slid open smoothly, making a click as they opened. Another robot stepped out from the shuttle, and this one was drastically different from the hulking one before them. This one was slim, humanlike. Almost like it was built for a more sneaky approach to things. It had the same color pattern as the first robot, but didn't have the same plating. This one only had the titanium, the lightest of the materials. It had a glowing, red power cord that was in what appeared to be its chest.[/b] "So this is Tatakai, huh?"

[i]"DIRECTIVE COMPLETE! CERES - AWAKE.[/i] [i]AFFIRMATIVE. INHABITANTS: VARY. MOST FOUND: HUMANS. PRESENCE: UNKNOWN. SUGGESTION: MOVE INTO TARGET LOCATION."[/i] [b]As the feminine robot found herself out of the pod, Jupiter then leaned down to face her, beginning to inspect her fit shy damage taken, in the case that she took any damage. After scanning her chassis and such, the robot straightened his massive body out, before looking straight towards where Dojoville would have been.[/b] [i]"REQUESTING PERMISSION TO BEGIN MISSION."[/i]

"Permission granted. Do not shoot, I repeat, do not fire until fired upon or other orders are specified, alright big bro?" [b]She stepped off her shuttle, and ran some diagnostics. All systems nominal. As expected, of course. She'd gotten repairs done to her before she'd left the homeworld, and she got the best mechanic to do it. She walked beside him.[/b]

[i]"AFFIRMATIVE!"[/i] [b]Jupiter was both highly pleased about the condition of Ceres and that she allowed him to venture forwards. His primary objective was to defend her at all costs, of course. To Jupiter, Ceres was a leader.[/b] [b]The metallic giant began lumbering towards Dojoville, his massive feet causing shatters and cracks within the earth that he stomped upon. [/b]

[b]Ceres walked bedside him, seemingly unfazed by the giant robot and the cracks in the earth he was making. She scanned him as they walked, her scanner smaller, and less effective as Jupiter's but it was still able to tell he was running at full capacity. She was glad, on one hand she wouldn't have to preform any maintenance on him, and on the other he was her brother. Despite them both technically not being alive, she still feared for his safety every time he charged into battle. One day he might not survive that plasma blast, or that tank shell to the chassis. He footsteps were literally dead silent, the dampeners built in her feet doing their job well.[/b]

[b]Timeskip![/b] [b]Some time later, both of the robotic beings found themselves at the bristling entrance of Dojoville, where civilians were already turning their eyes towards the two. While most civilians kept going, some seemed surprised, almost welcoming, of the two. Jupiter had already begun his scans, due to the bright red light that engulfed each and every civilian that came into his sight. Jupiter had a thing for following protocol and scanning literally everything that seemed in interest to him.[/b]

[b]Ceres was also doing her bare-bones scans, only telling her if they packed any weapons and what species they were. Many were just humans, but the occasional alien crossed their path. Ceres only ran scans on people that stopped to look at them, much less of a stickler for the rules than Jupiter. Kind of ironic, considering she was technically the commanding officer for their long-term mission on Tatakai. Ceres occasionally checked over on Jupiter, no scans, relying on her optical sensors to tell her if Jupiter was a steaming pile of slag yet. They were reliable most of the time, discounting that one time on the moon... Bad things happened that day, but that was probably nothing compared to what Jupiter had seen. He was the frontline fighter, after all. She was more of a scout. As they walked through, Ceres saw a pet shop. This had many new types of fauna. It was necessary for them to scan. That, and she really wanted to look at the four-legged animals with the fur.[/b] "Jupiter. Directive change. We just gotta go in that shop! Do you see all the little animals in there? I know you'll have a hay day with your scanning, and everything in there looks so cute!"

*Quincy in his feral form cautiously approaches the smaller robot*

[b]Ceres crouches down, putting her hands on her knees. Whatever this thing was.... It was adorable! If she had a mouth, she'd probably smile. Her eyes certainly showed her happiness.[/b] "Hi there little guy! You're a part of the Tatakai wildlife, aren't you?"

*Quincy smiles and wags his tail*

"Awww... That's adorable! I wonder what you're called, little fella... I guess I could ask some of the locals..."

*Quincy sits up on his haunches, his forepaws huddled against his chest. he wonders if he should talk just yet..*

[b]She squeals in delight. Whatever this thing was, it was absolutely positively adorable! It was the cutest thing she'd ever seen! She really did wonder if there was more to the thing, though. It couldn't just be some random animal, could it?[/b]

*She then notices a slight glow to Quincy's silver/cyan eyes. Something about them hinted he could think.. and possibly.. talk?*
