I typically find these "Goodbye Cruel Game" posts annoying.....but you're right. 1. Destiny is at its worst when Bungie starts trying to micromanage people's progression through the game. They still refuse to accept the wisdom of Blizzard's notion that you can't use the loot system to manipulate people into staying with the game. If you frustrate their progression... then they just wind up leaving mad...rather than staying. Or leaving happy and willing to come back later. 2. The Crucible and its P2P connections simply are not state-of-the art anymore. Especially for competitive multiplayer. This cannot be addressed----realistically----until Destiny 2. But its one of the MANY reasons why Destiny 2 needs to have a brand new engine.
