They didn't lose to many players. If most buy the dlc, play for a few weeks or months leave buy the next installment that is not losing players.
Maybe 10 million do not log in daily but if 10 million buy every dlc and Destiny 2 what is Bungie and Activision losing?
I pulled the 10 million number out of my ass we don't have the real numbers but before the ROI came out there were almost 2 million players tracked daily at Destiny tracker. The tracking system has been down since the release so no real number again.
