[i]He took some of the life force from before when he drained his arm and applied it to his chest, where it healed his lungs.[/i] "Where's your extraction point, and where are you taking the girl?"

[i]"It doesn't matter... It's too late... You can find the location all you want... We always have more... Always... Have... M-"[/i] [b]Then his brain burst apart and a window shattered as a very distant suppressed sniper ended his comrades life. Secrets couldn't leak... But. There was a start. A bigger corporation. Maybe a cover up? Who knew... But there was likely more on the way...[/b]

If there was truly more, he'd make them all tell the secrets. After putting the pieces away in his inventory/bag, he stood up and looked at where the sniper was. [b]There was only a slight glimmer of red in the far distance of the sniper's laser sight. An instant later, it vanished and disappeared from view. It was maybe... Two clicks away?[/b]

[i]Xavier then waited for 'her' response.[/i] [i]Meanwhile in a pocket-dimension, Rebecca was sitting and relaxing on her large, semi-circular desk. She had her feet up on it and was just reading a book. Then the communication Xavier sent out was received by Rebecca. She quickly placed the book on the desk, and sitting up properly.[/i] R: "Uhhh... What extraction point?" X: "Just get out of your pocket-dimension and help me find the guys. Look for four men that have high-tech gear and carrying a girl around." R: "Oh...Kay..." [i]She stood up, stretching. Then she snapped her fingers and started to levitate using her wings, getting teleported above Tatakai.[/i] R: "Now, where are you..." [i]She used her binocular vision to see where their extraction point was.[/i]

[b]Between the rain and the cloaking systems, tracking the men would be impossible... But there were searchlights of secondary teams moving through the streets, all converging towards the forested area.[/b]

[i]She flew over to the forested area, still keeping an eye out for them.[/i]

[b]Lights, and more lights, and then... The distant sound of a rotor and helicopter blades spinning.[/b]

[i]She went over to the helicopter noises.[/i]

[b]There, dual rotor, quad blade attack chopper sat, loading in troops and a small shimmer of yellow...[/b]

[i]Using her binocular vision again, she tried to see what the yellow thing was.[/i]

[b]It seemed like a small being, but it was in between two assassins so it was impossible to tell.[/b]

[i]She sighed, summoning a gunblade and taking aim on one of the rotors. She's this high up, so they wouldn't be able to detect her. She fired a shot of pure hardlight, followed up by another two shots to make sure they hit their mark.[/i]

[b]The rotors which were currently disengaged, merely deflected the shots with a multi layering shielding of its own... On the other end however, the mercs had now realized they were followed and quickly spread out into the treeline.[/b]

[spoiler]What is this shielding made of? Rebecca did just shoot pure hardlight...[/spoiler] [i]She sighed, now summoning a EMP grenade. She immediately threw it at the helicopter after pulling the pin, which would explode as soon at it reached the Helicopter.[/i]

[b]The helicopter had already been abandoned, but they wouldn't be going anywhere now... At least with this broken machine.[/b] [b]Meanwhile, the forest quickly went quiet as the troops spread out and hid.[/b]

[i]Rebecca landed in the forest, which was a cocky move. But she needed to find them. She loaded in some more hardlight rounds before firing one at a random direction, the light radiating from the projectile possibly revealing one or two.[/i]

[b]Unfortunately, the noise gave most of them a way to direct where she was. Most had cloaked and fled, the ones who weren't cloaked remained in heavy cover, using mud and trees as cover as they began to open fire.[/b]

[i]Luckily, her Hardlight skin was enough to prevent the bullets. She quickly shot two bullets at each assassin, with deadly accuracy. The Hardlight projectiles would be able to burn through their protection easily.[/i] [i]She then emitted a huge shockwave, pushing back trees and disabling electronics. But it did cost her a lot of her energy, and she needed to find the girl fast.[/i]

[b]There was a few clicking noise and scampering feet as things began to quiet down. Most had died...[/b]

[i]She went back up into the air again, searching for the girl.[/i]

[b]It wasn't hard to spot the yellow bundle that lay still in a bush, next to a fallen merc. She was still and badly wounded... But alive... For now anyways. Time was running out however and she was in dire need to medical attention.[/b]

[i]She quickly swooped and picked her up, going to Xavier's location. She tightly clutched onto the girl, trying to stop her from bleeding.[/i] [i]It wasn't a couple minutes before she saw Xavier waiting. She checked the girl's condition again.[/i]

[b]The girl was out like a light, the wound on her forehead and the hole in her leg draining a goo portion of her blood... But if she got treatment she'd most likely make it.[/b]

[i]Rebecca landed, Xavier going over to her as she held the girl out.[/i] R: "You got enough soul heal?" X: "Only a little bit, unfortunately. I have to take some of your life force, only enough before you pass out." R: "Okay..." [i]Rebecca laid her down on a bench, Xavier taking some of Rebecca's energy. He then took that to the girl's wounds, closing them off and healing it as best he could. Rebecca teleported back to her own pocket-dimension before she went for a nap.[/i]
