In the man's hand was now a Chinese sword-breaker - it looked similar to a Japanese straight Ninjato, but its edge was blunt and riddled with catching teeth and its tip was diamond hard. Yet this weapon looked to be comprised of ash, of all things. Little did Xavier know, while he was bombarding the man with needles he created the blade beneath his impromptu cover. The man began strafing as Xavier fired, smashing his sword-breaker into the earth and causing its blade to split into six pieces like some kind of skeletal flower of ash. He picked up his coat and splayed it over his branching weapon, wincing as a needle embedded itself in his unarmored shoulder. He held the makeshift coat-shield outwards in one hand like an umbrella of cover whilst he pulled the needle out of his flesh and threw it to the ground. He began charging at Xavier with his coat-shield in front of him to catch all the needles - needles which would soon reach their supercombine... As they neared Xavier embedded in the man's impromptu catching shield.
