The Wanderer | Dojo Gates Alister... Alister. Alister! ALISTER! The last thing he remembered was seeing the boy he sought to protect being smashed brutally in the back of the head by a sword's pommel. And then the world was set on fire. ... With a gasp, the man wakes up spread-eagle outside the Dojo Gates. A heartbeat after, he rolls forward to his feet and looks around, one hand on the mechanical katana sheathe at his waist. "ALISTER!" The man's apparel was quite peculiar. A long black leather overcoat draped past his knees, with ceramic shoulder pauldrons and joint guards placed upon the coat. At his waist was an Oriental scabbard modified by machinery near the upper half, holding such things as a napalm barrel and a gun trigger. The two other items of note were the ornately engraved Mateba revolver and a runic gas mask - all equipment strangely reminiscent of... him. He looked around frantically, hazel eyes wild as sweat dripped down his weathered Asian skin. Long, black hair was matted wildly in a mess under a wide-brimmed hat of the same colour. His age was indeterminate, possibly around mid-thirties to early forties. But all of his features made him an oddly similar, yet older, version of the Old Lieutenant. But it couldn't possibly be him... Could it? Silence. He looked at the large gates of the Dojo, easing his grip out of slight awe and fear. "Are these the Gates of Hell?... No, no get a hold of yourself. Believe in monsters, not the fantasies of men. Find him." He finally let go of his sheathed blade's handle. His coat sleeves were rolled up, revealing lean arms riddled with slashes and bullet holes. The smell of brimstone wafted through the air. Blue fire sprang from each wound, searing each laceration and bullet hole shut with a sickening smell. The man rolled down his sleeves as he looked around for anyone in sight. The madness in his eyes faded to a simmering charcoal of composure, a flame hidden amidst the ashen facade of calmness. The sickening scent stopped. It couldn't possibly be him... Could it?
Open to all :)
• "A boy by the name of Alister Danet. 15-16, dark brown hair and eyes with skin like mine. He was wearing a discarded Tribal coat with Old-Earth furs for warmth. Carried around a Chinese sword-breaker at his waist for a weapon." Lucien loosened his stance up as well, noticing the shift in JT. There was mutual ground to be had at least.

 • "Any clue where he is?" Asked the cowboy, as a black jeep rolled around the corner and passed by him. When they did manage to drive by him, the armour was miraculously lost from his body to reveal an emerald green jumpsuit, with a strange looking futuristic blaster at his hip and a duster over that, the torso stained by six bullet holes along the body. He wasn't exactly equipped too the full extent arms-wise, but he had all that was needed within his prosthetics.
Black Jeep is just to get JT out of combat gear for posts until I figure out how to get it off, don't mind that.
• Lucien wasn't taken aback by the man's cybernetic appearance. He had seen more perverse members of the Iconoclast with obsessions with robotic limbs and augmentations. He also knew veteran mercenaries who had been funded by the Icos who had to get limbs amputated and replaced in order to stop an infected wound. "I'm afraid I do not. All I remember is the boy being held hostage by a group of mercenaries. Then I lost control and... Ended up here."

 • "Can't believe I'm doing this for one of them -blam!-in' pyro cultists..." Murmured the Cowboy, who truly knew where the blue flames had come from, hell his left arm belonged to the man that the "Cult", AKA the Unborn, prayed to. "I'll help you if you need to, you strange -blam!-er."

 • "No need for harsh words now, desperado. I need only entry through these gates to find the boy, as well as an extra pair of eyes looking for him throughout the Dojo. No more. I would prefer to handle this matter alone." Lucien sighed and exited his strange stance, walking slowly with his hands up as a sign of peace to the cowboy and then lowering one in the offer of a handshake. "You don't even have to help me look. I need only entry."

 • "Alright, you can enter. But if you wish to do combat with anybody during your stay, you must be tested by a Lieutenant." JT clasped his silver right hand in the palm of the stranger as the steel inner workings and carbon fiber exterior shifted silently, allowing him to shake and retract the limb. "Standard protocol."

 • "Deal." The man then withdrew and looked at the gates. "I expect we'll be seeing more of each other soon then, Lieutenant?"

 • "Doubtful." The cowboy was... Well lets just say a seven nation army couldn't hold him back, but it could make him enter hiding. And so, the cowboy just up and started to walk off from the figure, in the direction he was previously headed. ((End))

 • The gates opened and several dojo guards approached from inside the dojo. "Howdy. How can we be of assistance?"

 • High-tech armour and weapons. White and sleek - Iconoclast mercenaries, most likely. "Where am I?" he demanded, a growing fire in his eyes. "Where did you take him? Where did you take the boy?!" This man seemed to be in a panic - the boy's name he was shouting earlier, that same vigour and urgency ignited in his eyes when he asked the guard that question. Whoever this 'Alister' was, he was important to the man.

 • "The... Dojo?" the man said with confusion. "What part of Olympus Island am I in?"

 • "There's no such thing as Olympus island. You're on the planet Takatai."

 • Impossible. Another planet? Such a thing was laughable after the Great Scorch. "Tatakai? This must be a dream... Have you seen a boy come here, by chance? About 15-16. Skin like mine, dark brown hair and eyes."

 • "Ah, I see. You're the local militia around here, aren't you? Do you mind telling me a little bit about this establishment? I assure you - I am no threat. I am merely in search of the boy." The man's words became calm and collected - he was taking the peaceful approach to this. But urgency underlined his every word.

 • "We're not a military presence, we're hired by the dojo for the dojo. In a way maybe we are military. But you, you are at the dojo. A place for warriors of all kinds to come and train."

 • A mass training hall? Hmm. Similar to how the Tribals operated. "I see... I would assume that this isn't a dream then? Because if it is, shoot me so I may return to the waking world." A heartbeat passed. "Ah, alright then. Very well, may I enter this establishment of yours? I am in pursuit of the boy I mentioned to you earlier."
