Well, I don't know what Silver's armor is rated for as far as projectiles, but a 7.62x51mm round packs one hell of a punch. I'd recommend somethin' along the lines of an M60, the M240B, or if you want something lighter, faster, but with a smaller 5.56mm, I'd suggest the Ultimax 100.
