[b][i]After a week of simply brushing off the pink petals of the courtyard, Rorek seemed to be getting very angry with his "mentor." The white haired man who sat up against the cherry blossom tree, barking criticism at the boy each day for the littlest things. This wasn't training, no Rorek seemed to be doing chores. [/i][/b]
"What did I tell you about how to put your feet on the ground kiddo! You ain't sweeping up shit if you are doing the god damn splits!"

[b]He throws the broom to the ground, anger rising[/b] "[u]Im tired of this! You've had me do nothing but chores for the past two weeks![/u]"

[b]The deity raises an eyebrow as he stays seated.[/b] "Chores? Seriously kiddo? I'd imagine you'd be smarter than that!"

"[u]What the hell is all this cleanup doing?![/u]"

"Good god you actually are that stupid..." [b]The deity pulls himself up. Patting off his hands. [/b] "Draw your sword." [b]The deity walks out of the gate, Rorek knew by now that he didn't have to ask for the boy to follow him.[/b]

[b]The deity walks down the steps, but then steps off to the left and walks across the slope of the mountain. He walks past a boulder, which he then turns towards to face Rorek. As Rorek gets near, the boulder separates the two of them.[/b] "Sweep the floor."

"[u]You mean cut the Boulder?[/u]"

"Sweep. The. Floor."

[b]He sighs, and sweeps the floor with his blade[/b]

"Ha! I'm kidding. Sweep the shit out of that boulder. Just as I taught you..."

[b]He sweeps the Boulder[/b]

[b]Rorek cuts through the boulder like butter, as he splits it completely in two with barely any effort. The back half falls over, by the deity's feet. He crosses his arms as he grins at Rorek.[/b]

[b]He looks at deity, then at his blade, blinking[/b] "[u]What the shit....[/u]"

"So tell me Kiddo. What the hell did that cleanup do? Hmm?" [b]Deity teased Rorek from his comment a few moments prior.[/b]

"[u]How does sweeping leaves for two weeks allow this?[/u]"

"It's in the form kid. Why do you think a bunch of working class men and women are able to overthrow governments? They're tougher then em. The way you hold the blade, the way you hold your broom, it allows the blades weight to follow through a slash. For example!" [b]The deity picks up a large log, and holds it out towards Rorek.[/b] "Turn the blade around now! Reverse your grip and sweep the floor!"

[b]He reverses his grip and sweeps[/b]

[b]The blade follows through, and easily cuts through the log with speed.[/b] "Again!" [b]The deity starts to walk towards Rorek with the log, and with each cut he gets faster and faster as he cuts off each piece like butter. [/b]

[b]He finishes the log with a downward slash[/b] "[u]So your telling me all this is because I swept for two weeks?[/u]"

"Damn right I am kiddo. Also, just wanted to see how long it would take for you to finally be pissed at me! Kinda surprised you lasted this long!"

"Good. See, what I was taught MANY years ago. Is that you ought to be patient. In a fight, if you can wait just long enough for your opponent to become angry, you can surprise them. Kind of like what I just did to you. Funny how that works."
