[i]The scene before them is that of utter devastation. Before them, there is a shallow crater, the trees around it blasted backwards out from the epicenter, stripped of the branches and charred. The ground was scorched as well, the snow melted and the foliage naught but ash. In the snow, there appear to be tracks somewhere, leading back into the depths of the forest. Signatures showed a powerful energy unlike anything before seen in the region.[/i]

"Hmm. Interesting. What do you think? Mechs?" [i]"Probably."[/i] [b]The squad follows the tracks, careful of their surroundings [/b]

[i]The tracks seem to be leading towards the Dojo, at a steady pace, but quickly, one signature spikes, another disappears. [/i]

"Keep up ladies" [b]The squad goes at A jog, holding their weapons down as they Jog[/b]

[i]The large signature seems to continue moving on, the other signature does not seem to be reappearing. Its path remains towards the Dojo gates.[/i]

"Hey. Max. Call it." [b]One of the guards gets down on one knee and activates a communication device. [u]"Hey yo. What's the word Maxy?"[/u] [i]"Send a squadron out from the dojo."[/i] [u]"You got it." [/u] [b]The large gates open and a dozen men jog out and down the path [/b]

[i]Considering the spike had not and was still not near a path, the men would have a ways to go to find him. The other was still nowhere to be found or seen.[/i]

[b]The two different groups, being in two different locations to make searching easier, split up into three. The group of 12 that exited the dojo, split in and half and went away from the path while the other six countied walking [/b]

[i]The path was empty, as was much of the forest nearby the pathway. However, those further away found that that single spike was growing closer. The other was still nowhere to be seen.[/i]

[b]The group kept onwards, following the spikes as best they could [/b]

[i]The large one appears to be closer, the other then reappears behind them, close to the gates.[/i]

[b]The squad on the path turns, heading back while the second squadron, in the woods follows the larger [/b]

[i]Upon arrival to the gates, there is a single lone figure, covered in a black cloak which appears to be fairly worn. From beneath the hood, a pair of glowing blue eyes. Turning to face the group, he did not draw a weapon. Meanwhile in the woods, the squadron stumbled upon a large figure, who was not covered by a good, his cloak upon further inspection was some sort of old flag. Atop his shoulder, a massive minigun, and plenty of munitions and other weapons were visible on his person. Turning to face the group, he did speak.[/i] Holy sh*t y'all have guards now?

The first squadron slowly lowers their weapons "Howdy stranger" [b]The second squadron does as well, lowering their weapons [/b] [i]"Yeah we do. Very sophisticated" [/i]

[i]He observed them calmly, and did not speak immediately, but upon noticing them lower their weapons, he spoke, voice filtered and metallic.[/i] Is this the Dojo? [i]The hulking figure simply gazed at the guards.[/i] So, uh, hook me up with that stuff, man. Always up for more free guns and gear! [i]he said.[/i]

"Yeah it is!" [b]The second squadron seems confused at what he said [/b] [i]"Pardon? You want free shit?"[/i]

Last time I was here, y'all had plenty of gear, right? Like an armory and sh*t? [i]the hulking figure asked.[/i]

Well I ain't one to associate for just associating, I like the gear, man. I ain't a free gun. [i]He said, unimpressed.[/i] [i]Meanwhile, the other figure stood silently, perhaps warily.[/i] Entrance is earned through combat, is it not? [i]he asked.[/i]

[i]"A free gun? People would still pay you for taking jobs if you are wondering." [/i] [b]The second squadron chuckles, thinking it's a joke but fall silent [/b] "No. Not anymore. Now all are welcome"

[i]The fully cloaked figure was silent.[/i] I see the customs have changed, then. [i]The bulky figure laughed.[/i] Good sh*t, glad to see that at least I'll be employed.

"Yeah they have. Quite alot as well." [b]The squad with the burly one begin fanning out [/b] [i]"I DUNNO. There's not much work here anymore. Few things here and there but not much" [/i]
