[b][u][i]Ending a Vendetta, one way or another[/i][/u][/b]
The courtyard that held Phoenix's ships well as Silver's was quite calm, Silver getting ready to take off to help The Figure take out an enemy ship in orbit. Just as Silver takes off to do some reconnaissance on the enemy ship, Phoenix carries the paralyzed Alpha into his ship and places him in the small cell inside and locks him inside. He then sends a message to Silver:
[i]We've got him.[/i]
He then turns to face his new prisoner, safely on the other side of a thick metal door, waiting for Celina to come so that they could decide what to do with him.
[spoiler]Open to Ginger and Alpha. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of our plot. [/spoiler]

"F[i]u[/i]ck that!" [i]Celina came bursting through form the cockpit, where she had been desperately trying to keep the ship stable through all of the conflict. She gives a little mock salute, and dons her helmet before she dives out of the airlock, headfirst, after Alpha's escape pod. [/i]

Good luck, he'd already'd entered the atmosphere and was rapidly gaining a sort of heat cone around his pod, it wouldn't do much good to get near it....

*Phoenix rolls his eyes and seals up the ship, piloting it on a course following both Alpha and Celina, prepping the ship's weapons and shields

[i]She didn't need to. Her HUD had already calculated his trajectory, and the rotary thrusters on her back, as well as those on her rocket boots, were matching that trajectory at minimum safe distance. [/i]

The pod crashed into the ground at the base of the mountain, and alpha made no time for idleness, as he rushed towards the Sparrowhawk that flew towards him, chainguns hot and ready

*Phoenix fires several antimatter torpedoes at the fighter then cloaks, one of them hitting the Sparrowhawk's engines at blinding speeds while the other two hit the left wing, disabling it and causing it to crash

they didn't, only crashing against the shields and alpha continued to rush towards the fighter, which opened fire at your ship, being of superior make and model

After a few moments of silence, two EMP torpedoes hit the ship, disabling its shields long enough for two more antimatter torpedoes to hit the ship, impacting the engines just before the shields came back up. Then, another torpedoe comes down near Alpha, blasting him away from the fighter and irradiating his entire body with dangerous levels of gamma radiation

[spoiler]actually, due to the fact antimatter only works against normal matter, the shields would be surprisingly effective.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Do you? A gram of antimatter has the power of a nuclear bomb. An entire missile could destroy the continent, and most definitely you. [/spoiler]

[spoiler]He uses a very small amount, like astronomically small. However, I can see that any amount of antimatter may be a bit much to be used for such a situation like this. [/spoiler]

the ship could no longer fly at super fast speeds.....but it still had VTOL turbines for surface combat, and its NTR scanners activated, and it began firing at the probable location of the ship with one chaingun and celina with the other

*at first it hit nothing, then it bounced off of the shield of what appeared to be a ship before continuing to hit nothing but air. Just then, two more EMP torpedoes hit it from behind, quickly followed by two antimatter ones: one hitting the weapon's systems and the other taking out the engines

Alpha watched helplessly from the ground as he saw you take out his ship..... then, again his form began to shift back into that powerful one, because you don't simply shoot his ship, and he raised his hand while getting up, a bolt of energy appearing [b][u]"OKAY MOTHER-blam!-ER, LETS PLAY THAT GAME"[/u][/b]

*the bolt barely misses Phoenix's ship, and he fires an antimatter torpedo right into Alpha's face before re cloaking. He was obviously not going to risk a head on attack

he literally grabbed the torpedo with a hand, and with a smile, hurled it back at you he wasn't invincible, it left a red burn on his hand, but he was sure as all hell durable, and he took flight, his eyes pitch black with glowing white slits as they scan for you

*he is able to quickly dodge the torpedo, but is obviously annoyed with the guy's new form "Fine, I guess it's time to turn you into Swiss cheese."-Phoenix(to himself) *he de cloaks behind Alpha and starts to fire on him with his twin tachyon miniguns turrets and plasma cannons while preparing to dodge any incoming attacks

[i]Like a fallen angel, Celina came rocketing down from the sky, all of her thrusters spewing at maximum capacity. She came down nearly in top of Alpha, and the flames singed his fur, knocking him down. She has her weapons drawn, but didn't fire or say anything, and merely continued to stare as him expectantly, reducing her thermal temperature in the meantime. [/i]

"I NEED ANSWERS NOW" he said, running past her towards the still rushing ship "ONE LAST CHANCE OR ONE OF US IS DEAD, OKAY?"

[i]She fires an un-charged shot with her DMR at his leg, hitting him in the lower thigh, which merely caused his leg to buckle. It felt like he had been hit by a rubber bullet, and while it hadn't pierced his skin, it hurt like hell, and it caused him to fall down again. She catches up to his prone body, and says,[/i] "Y'know, running across an open field from a marksman isn't the best of ideas. Ever read Sun-Tsu kid?"

"Give me a goddamn answer or I swear to god you backstabbing bitch! I will put you under with him too!" he growled at you while the sparrowhawk fired at you to keep you at bay, while its other chaingun fired at phoenix's ship

At first, I wanted you so I could find Drake, but then, I had second thoughts. I wanted to get paid, and then I'd double-cross Phoenix, giving his ship to you, while I kept the credits for your bounty. Everyone wins." [i]She paused, and said almost mockingly,[/i] "[i]But[/i], you pussied out, and now I want the full bounty on your head, and the satisfaction of the hunt. It's a matter of principle now... But don't worry. It asks for you alive." [i]She backs out of arms reach, and aims her stun pistol at you.[/i] "So this won't hurt a bit."

he was already up while you were talking, and his voice was filled with hurt, and anger however, his form had shifted, he wore a black robe, and he no longer wore boots or gloves, nor a hood, his horns over three feet long and he even grew prismatic and multicolored wings, floating mid-air as a bolt of energy coalesced in both hands, aimed at silver, then at you [b][u]"LETS GO THEN, I'M WANTED FOR A MURDER? LETS ADD TWO TO THE LIST!"[/u][/b]
