She winced, laying down on her side. She rested her head on the pillow, looking up at him.
"Not yet."
She said gently, closing her eyes.

[b][i]He saw her wince as he nods feeling bad as if he had did something wrong. Seeing her lay down as he gently rubs her back making sure he isn't going to far.[/i][/b] "You seem tired you alright?"

"I think. I haven't slept in 36 hours, ha." She drawled sleepily, her breathing slowing and evening out as she fell asleep.

[b][i]He watches her fall asleep as he pets her head. Playing with her hair softly as he closes his eyes going to sleep with a sigh.[/i][/b] [spoiler]time skip o:?[/spoiler]

[u]A day later...[/u] She awoke immediately, sliding off the couch and onto the floor, stretching slightly as she yawned. She wondered how long she had been out.

[b][i]He got up looking at her as he smiles. Without thinking he kisses her cheek and moves forward towards the kitchen. He seemed tired yet happy.[/i][/b] "What would you like too have?"

"No don't cook... you've done enough, hah." She frowned, noticing his tired expression as she brushed her hair back. "Maybe you should get some sleep."

"Huh no I'm fine I'm always like this till I shower which I would do but..."' [b][i]He blushes a deep red his fur changing color has he does so looking down a little embarrassed.[/i][/b] "I have guests and uh..."

"It's fine; I'll just watch tv while you do." She gave him a smile, melting into the couch and flipping the channels.

"If you want you can take the shower first I don't mind..." [b][i]He smiles as he waves his hand into a bedroom looking area. A bathroom with a shower located on the side of it.[/i][/b] "I don't mind honestly."

"Eh, okay." She moved over to the shower, raising an eyebrow at him as she closed the door. Undressing she sighed in comfort as the hot water ran down her ghost like body.

[b][i]He could hear the shower going on as he smiled pulling out toast, eggs, and hash browns. Humming to himself as he keeps cooking. His body dancing a little bit slowly, looking around for spices and things.[/i][/b]

After 10 minutes or so, she turned off the water, looking around to notice there was no towel. Frowning, she opened the door and walked out, tapping an occupied Volt on the shoulder. "Yo, you got a towel I could borrow?" She asked, oblivious to herself.

"To the right in the bathroom why.." [b][i]He says as he turns around blushing a deep red as he turns back. Working on cooking he breakfast more. Making sure to not look in her direction as he didn't want to seem like he was staring.[/i][/b] "Ther-...there's a closet on....the right side and uh..."

"Okay, thanks." She turned around, walking towards the closet, before pausing and turning back around. "Something wrong?"

"You just look....stunning and I..." [b][i]He blushes a deep red and keeps cooking putting the food onto plates. Setting them on the table as he looks down waiting for her.[/i][/b]

"It's just skin." She chuckled, grabbing a towel and sitting down. Upon closer inspection faded scars could be seen, scoring around her joints and numerous slashes on her chest and neck. "This is pretty good." She commented, closing her eyes in enjoyment as she bit into the food.

[i][b]He looks over at her scars as he sits down on the other side of it. Looking into her eyes as he looks a little worries about her.[/b][/i] "Hey you okay that's a lot of scars..." [b][i]He bumps her foot with his as he eats some waiting for her response with a caring look.[/i][/b]

"Yeah." She stiffened for a second, before forcing herself to relax. Painful memories shot through her mind as she continued to eat. "There's more on my back."

[b][i]He looks at her stiffen as he moves closer. Rubbing her back as he looks at her making sure she's okay. [/i][/b] "You alright?"

"Mhmm. Just stuff in my past." She took another bite, the fork shaking in her hand.

"Anyway I can help ease your mind..." [b][i]He wraps an arm around her as he rubs her shoulder. Trying his best to help her feel better as he looks at her. His food getting cold as he does so.[/i][/b]

"I would prefer to keep them; they make me who I am, regardless of how bad they are." She gestured to his food. "You should eat. And then shower."

"I wasn't saying to get rid of them I was saying I'm here for you if you need me." [b][i]He said as he pulls his plate over eating some with one hand as his other hand rubs he back tying to be kind.[/i][/b] "I guess...I just want to make sure you are okay."

"Oh." She seemed touched by his act of kindness, and a pink hue spread across her cheeks. She stood up, and after a moment's hesitation drew him into a tight hug. "Thank you."

[b][i]He hugged her close and right back. His forehead placing against hers without meaning too. She could feel the rough antlers gently against her as he did.[/i][/b] "anytime....just let me know if you ever need me okay?"
