Here is a fact sheet of my luck with my Three of Coins between Strikes as well as Crucible games. This takes place at the Launch of Rise of Iron. Legend: AxD: B (C) A- Number of Coins used consecutively D- Number of tmes I used that amount of Three of Coins B- Number of Exotic Engrams dropped C- Chance of getting an Exotic Engram Type of Exotic. They are as follows: P: Primary Weapon S: Secondary Weapon H: Heavy Weapon h: Helmet G: Gauntlets C: Chest Armor L: Leg Armor Remember: Number of Coins used consecutively x Number of times I used that many coins: Total number of Exotic Engrams dropped on that coin (percent chance of getting an Exotic Engram) Just ignore the Subclass and Asterik with the number. Kudos to those who can guess what they mean. Note: Their are some occasional errors in here. Eventually I catch them and fix them right up. Tips: 1. Use one at a time max per Ultra kill or Crucible game. Doesn't matter how much time has passed between coins in my findings. A cool down timer shouldn't affect RNG. 2. Try to stay on the same character during a coin run. You have a better chance of getting an Exotic on a character who has been on a dry streak than a character who didn't use one at all or just recently got an Exotic from a Three of Coin. 3. Do NOT expect any Exotics from these Ultras: Atheon, Templar, Crota, Omnigul, Psion Flayers, Aksis, or Fused or Enhanced Ultras, or Perfected Vandals encountered in Archon's Forge. Your coin will not activate, but you'll still have the buff. Exotic Engrams will also not drop in Private Matches. 4. There are some instances where you'll still have an Exotic Particles buff even after a Crucible match. This usually happens when you load in when the game almost ends and you don't get a kill but could happen anytime. Check your character screen to make sure you don't have it before using another one. 5. There are missions such as [url=http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Last_Rites]Last Rites[/url] where Ultras are defeated (wiped by the game rather than vanish) when you teleport or escape. As long as you shoot them before this happens, you have a chance for an Exotic drop. In this case your Exotic Particles Buff will go away and any Engram(s) will go to the Postmaster.
