"Oh." He seemed disappointed, looking around uncertainly, scratching his head. "Jeez. If anyone comes after me, I'm screwed." He let out a frustrated sigh. "Do you know where I can get weapons?"

No clue. But if you're lookin' for protection I'm sure we can work out a deal. How much money you got? [i]he asked, sounding almost predatory.[/i]

He backed away out of reflex uncertainly. He looked at the money in his hand, before holding it out to him earnestly, but just out of his reach. "I got five bucks." He grinned weakly.

God that's pitiful. Dude I can't even get a box of bullets for that much. [i]he said, sounding mildly disappointed.[/i]

"Sorry... I keep most of my money on my debit card, but unless you can point me to an ATM, I'm out of luck..." He looked up at him hopefully. "Speaking of which, what's your name?"

Of course... everything's digital these days... [i]he sighed.[/i] You can call me Sidewinder, we'll stick with that.

"Cool. I'm Jasper." He stuffed his money back into his wallet and slid it into his pocket. "Can you point me to one?"

Ok... AGAIN. I have never been here. I don't know what's around here. But in the case that we find an ATM, I'll be sure to point it out. [i]he said, sounding exasperated.[/i]

"Alright, alright. I'm just curious." He started walking, eyeing the various weaponry and people with wonder. Spotting an ATM he jogged over to it, sliding his debit card through the port. He began humming as he extracted several bills, pocketing them and turning towards Sidewinder. "How much do you charge?"

You got five thousand? [i]he asked, now playing with his knife nonchalantly.[/i]

He paled considerably. He frowned. "No... Damn, I guess I'm on my own then..." He pocketed the money once more. "Well, I guess I'll see you later. If I don't get myself killed first."

[i]He was silent for a moment, but he spoke eventually.[/i] Alright, hell with the money. You're lost, I'm lost, probably should figure out what's going on. You'll be safe and I'll at least be lost and confused with someone else. Sound fair? [i]he said, sheathing the knife.[/i]

"Alright that sounds good. I guess we should get something to eat first; meet the locals and whatnot." He said, looking around for a likely gathering place. "What about that building over there? It looks promising." He pointed to a pub, already starting to walk over.
