He felt like he was melted from the inside. Well correction he was the only thing keeping him together was the Lich? Oddly guess he didn't want to die either. The tendrils grasping on and protecting his vitals enough to live as he gasps for air. The Phoenix now summoned without his choice attempting to heal him with its tears.
Sadly it was only slowing the process of him melting away. Gasping for dear life as he tries to fight the sensation his eyes rolling back as the darkness begins to consume him. He can see all his memories flash before his eyes his body seeming to fade slowly.

*Sapphire was on her way to the training building, wearing her exo-suit and carrying her helmet in her left hand. She noticed someone lying on the ground and a jolt of fear and dread reverberated through her body when she saw it was Axel. She screamed, running up in a blind panic to see if he was okay.*

[b][i]Blood and pouring out of him as the Phoenix tries to patch him up. Letting out bursts of tears as he looks over reaching out for her as he fall unconscious. Holes in his body as he seems to be gasping for life.[/i][/b]

*She is horrified. She suddenly realized something and quickly puts her helmet onto his head. Every single thing in his body, even his brain activity stops as if it's just been put on pause. He is surrounded in a blue aura as Sapphire watches it heal him.* *She sits there for five hours straight, watching it heal him. Finally the aura disappears and she pulls the helmet off of him. He is completely healed and there is no more lava inside of him.* [u]Axel?[/u]

[b][i]He moves slightly as the Phoenix disappears getting up weakly as he opens his eyes clutching his head. Blinking as his blurry vision focuses on her. He feels like he has a headache as he pauses looking at her.[/i][/b] "Hey sapphire...what happened?"

*She grabs him, hugging him tightly.*

[b][i]He blinks a little confused as he holds her close rubbing her back. The clouds above starting to rain on them as he shakes around. Grabbing her hand as he walks with her back to the apartment. Once inside he shakes his body around trying to dry off. His eyes looking back at her as he offers her a soul once more. [/i][/b]

*She accepts it, allowing her to hear again. She speaks before he can even think about what he's going to say.* [u]What happened to you?! You were almost dead!!! Who did that!? I-I could have lost you!!![/u]

"I uh..well uh..." [b][i]He closes the door behind her as he motions her to keep it down a little bit. Scratching the back of his head as he looks towards a wall blushing some. Looking down as he sighs tapping his foot.[/i][/b] "Well...uh....when I was unsure about my feelings I let instincts kick in....and uh...me and her kinda...you know..." [b][i]He makes a show with his hands a finger going into a hole. Blushing as he shakes his hands looking into her eyes.[/i][/b] "This was before we dated and I...when I told her about us she did that...."

*She looks extremely surprised.* [u]Oh... I... I didn't know... Who is she? Please don't tell me I broke you two up...[/u]

"Her name is Val...." [b][i]He looks at her seeing her sad as he holds her close rubbing her back. Placing his forehead against hers as he kisses it softly.[/i][/b] "No you didn't do anything okay....it was me not knowing who I wanted to be with....and making poor decisions..."

[u]Okay... But if I see her, I will attack her. She tried to kill you. She tried to take you away. If I hadn't been there you... You would've been...[/u] *She couldn't say the last sentence, her lip trembling as she looks down. Her ears droop down and she is clearly upset by the thought of losing him.*

[b][i]He keeps holding her close as he tilts her head up looking into his eyes as he smiles kissing her. Rubbing her back as he sighs happily.[/i][/b] "I'm not going anywhere....you know what might cheer you up? Want to see sketches reaction to us dating and the loud racket we made a few days ago." [i][b]He says as he tickles her keeping her close. He wasn't happy with what happened before but he didn't like her being sad. Smiling softly as he looks at her.[/b][/i]

*She giggles a little as he tickles her, the sadness quickly being replaced by laughter.* [u]Hehe, maybe we should... Seeing Vorim's reaction to when we were so close I'd say he could possibly funny to visit too! He's probably traumatized or something...[/u]

[b][i]He laughs as he rubs her back walking to the door as he opens it with a wave of his hand smiling at her.[/i][/b] "We go do that then I order some Chinese for us at home. Lead the way my dear." [b][i]He smiles as his tail swishes playfully waiting. Shaking his hips teasingly as he chuckles to himself.[/i][/b]

[u]Oh, that sounds nice.[/u] *She smiles, walking out into the hallway.*

[b][i]He closes the door behind him locking it as he puts the key away. Taking her hand in his as he kisses her cheek smiling.[/i][/b] "Lead the way my dear."

*She kisses him back.* "Okay..." *She starts leading him in the direction of The Box.*

[b][i]Following her happily he looks around as he does curious as to where they are headed. He thought they would be in the apartment to his surprise they were not.[/i][/b] "Oh they live here I see?" [b][i]He said curiously as they approached the box. Kissing her cheek happily as his tail swished playfully.[/i][/b]

"Yep, the box is much bigger on the inside. Sketch made all the furniture inside out of cardboard. He even made the plumbing out of cardboard." *She says as she knocks on the front of the cardboard box.*

[b][i]He blinks as he whistles at it curious how sketch even managed this as he shakes his head. Looking at sapphire as he smiles happily enjoying her presence and her hand being held in his.[/i][/b] "Hey....his box is impressive but not as impressive as you. I love you sapphire." [b][i]He says with a happy smile as he kisses her cheek. Awaiting sketch to come out as he moves closer to her.[/i][/b]

[u]Aw, I love you too Axel.[/u] *She grasps his hand a little tighter, moving closer to him as well. Just then, the box opens up and Sketch is standing inside.* "Oh, hey guys, want to come in?"

[b][i]He smiles as he nods walking in with her as he holds her hand. Happily stepping inside as he looks around his eyes glancing at everything made of card board.[/i][/b] "So what have you been up too sketch?" [b][i]He says as he smiles happily at the man. Looking back at sapphire as his eyes look at her lovingly before turning back to him.[/i][/b]

"Nothing that big really, taking care of my kids, being married to the love of my life, forcing Vorim to interact with people, repairing Garry..." *He notices Sapphire and Axel holding hands.* "So what's going on with you guys? I assume everything's going okay?"

[b][i]He nods as he turns to sapphire kissing her a smile on his face as he looks back at sketch. Looking around the place making sure none of the kids were around as he smiles.[/i][/b] "Everything's great I'm dating he love of my life and we had....some loud fun enough to wake up most of the apartment building." [b][i]He winks as he blushes a deep red not realizing how true it was before saying it. Looking at sapphire as he purrs softly with a smile on his face.[/i][/b]

*Sapphire blushes as Axel says that and nudges him a little. Sketch chuckles awkwardly.* "Heh heh... I may have gotten a few complaints about my cousin and some guy being pretty loud... I just told them to deal with it and not to bother you two..." *He scratches the back of his head, looking off to the side. He clearly isn't very comfortable with this conversation.*
