Edited by jj1042: 10/15/2016 5:45:17 AMA small, dark orange ship lands in front of the figure, with a ramp extending from its lower end. A man then began to descend the ramp, approaching the figure. The man was clad in a massive suit of armor that appeared to be quite cumbersome, but it seemed to have some sort of boosters on the back. On his right arm was cannon, the length of a man's forearm and hand, angrily humming with the energy built up inside. He then speaks, his voice computerized by speaking through the helmet, "Hello? You speak English, or at least some other common language?" His cannon wasn't raised, but his left hand was resting upon it as if he was unsure of what the figure may do.

"I speak English, yeah," [i]The figure replied, waving with his left hand; the one that wasn't holding a massive sword. He didn't have any sort of accent, and knowing that, wherever the figure came from, English was probably an official language, or at least widely spoken.[/i] "The name's Benidi'Rol; you may call me Benedict." [i]Benedict smiled kindly behind his helmet, yet it was not visible.[/i] "Also, where on Arnustad am I?"

"Oh, okay. That's good. Call me JJ." The man took his hand away from his cannon, letting it rest at his side. He then hears Benedict speak his latest sentence, replying with a confused and slightly worried voice. "Uh... Wherever that planet is, it's not this one. You're on Tatakai. Also, what was that massive explosion? I thought someone had setoff a nuke out here."

"Tata what now? Tata kye?" [i]He seemed confused; in Zouzanese, Tata kye meant "fish land", but he assumed that the planet was now one wasn't named Fish Land, and continued to answering JJ's next question.[/i] "The explosion?" [i]Looking up, Benedict examined the starts from behind his helmet, before turning back to JJ.[/i] "That was a collapsing wormhole. I only barely made it out without being turned into a pancake." [i]Benedict shuddered at the thought, shaking his head.[/i]

"T-A-T-A-K-A-I." JJ had just rattled off the spelling of the planet simply to try and help Benedict understand it a bit more. Then, the answer to his question finally hit him. "Wait, wait, wait... did you just say 'wormhole? Damn it, those things are always too confusing. They either dump you into a dying world where everyone's stuck in the God-forsaken Middle Ages, or something equally convoluted... To make a long story very short, I have experience with these things. Bad experiences. So... what planet did you say you were from?" JJ's visor suddenly turns from gold to blue, as he seems to examine Benedict, looking at him head-to-toe.

"A place called Arnusted," [i]Benedict said, and he smiled proudly behind his helmet; in his own opinion, his home planet[/i] was [i]beautiful, before the discoveries.[/i] "Truly great place, really. And the wormhole... well, that's a long story." [i]Benedict sighed inwardly, and his eyes, unable to be seen from behind the helmet, scanned JJ over, looking at the strange technology vastly different from the ones at his home world.[/i]

JJ's visor turns back to its golden hue, as he begins to look into Benedict's visor. "I've never heard of that planet, and I've been to many different worlds. And your gear, I can't identify it. It's like nothing I've ever seen before..." JJ's voice is filled with wonder, and a small bit of fear. He knew that if he wasn't careful, and that if he somehow provoked Benedict, he could be dispatched with ease. Attempting to appear more peaceable, he had his cannon morph back into a gauntlet. His entire arm piece shifted, the end of the cannon became a hand, the middle of the cannon became a forearm, and the bicep armor expanded slightly to accommodate the excess of material from the innards of the cannon.

[i]In Benedict's visor, all that could be seen was a pair of glowing, bright red eyes, which contrasting greatly with his otherwise kind nature; he was given the most frightening of appearances, yet was nicer than a bunch of people he knew.[/i] "Well, you don't need to visit it now," [i]He said sourly, thinking back on his once-beautiful home planet.[/i] "Thanks to the Cryzors. They decided that it would be smart to redirect all the electricity in the world into the massive stock of N'dulbourge we had piling up in their storage, and so a wormhole sucked up the entire planet, destroyed it, and sent its people flying all over the universe."

"Jesus Christ, that's insane. There's only a few other people that I know of who're that crazy, and they're all dead. Did the Cryzors know that the... uh, De-borge, would have that effect?" Nothing can be seen behind JJ's helmet, the only hint of his person being seen in his posture and voice.

"Of course they knew," [i]Benedict said with a sigh.[/i] "The Cryzors are one of the three kingdoms on Arnusted, and they're the researchers and scientists. So they definitely knew, and that was why we gave them the responsibility of safeguarding the N'dulbourge, but I guess they're just a bunch of idiots with clouds for brain matter." [i]He shook his head sadly, part of his brain lost in memories.[/i]

"That's horrible. I've seen dying planets, been to a few myself, but for one to be flourishing and almost instantly destroyed, I can't grasp that. I don't suppose a ship came flying through that wormhole with you?"

[b]A gunship lands not to far from him, and several Dojo guards exit, weapons raised [/b]

"Whoa hey whoa," [i]The figure called out to the guards, raising his hands in surrender. Sure, he was massive, intimidating, and looked like a big 'ol threat, but really he was a rather nice guy, if you looked past the massive armor and sword.[/i]

[b]The lowered their weapons, seeing no immediate threat [/b] "Are you alright sir?" [i]"There was an explosion!" [/i] [u]"Boom boom."[/u]

"The explosion?" [i]The figure looked upwards, the back towards the guards.[/i] "Oh! That was from a wormhole collapsing right behind me. By the way, where on Arnustad am I?"

"You're on Tatakai sir."

"Tata what now?" [i]The armored man blinked behind his helmet, having never heard of the place.[/i]

"Tatakai sir. It is Tatakai."

"Tatakai. Okay," [i]The man said, looking around the barren wasteland.[/i] "Not much of a place."

"You've yet to explore the whole planet. This is but one biome"

"Okay, cool," [i]The man said with a sigh.[/i] "But I just want a place to sleep that isn't in my armor."

"We could take you to the Dojo. Or Dojoville. There's a few taverns and apartments."

"Either's fine," [i]He said with a yawn, stretching.[/i]

"Come on then." [b]They head over to the gunship, entering it [/b]

[i]The man followed, his heavy armor leaving imprints in the sand. He arrived inside the gunship five seconds after the guards.[/i]
