*Rather than what he expected, it is eerily silent for about three minutes. Then a portal opens in front of him, a figure walking through it. It is Mortar, but looks completely different. He wears a strange type of armor made of a black metal alloy. It seems to resemble Caesar's armor except the chainmail under the plates seems to have been strengthened. The plates themselves look as if they can take a crazy beating. The helmet resembles a xenomorph face except it doesn't have an elongated head and has a thin red hardlight visor around where Mortar's eyes are. He looks at you sword in hand, and holds his arm in front of him. After a second a red hard light triangular shield, about three and a half feet high, forms on his arm.
