[b]He chuckles, getting up and entering redemption form. His hair turns silver and spikes up, and a silver aura covers him.[/b]

*Mortar smiles as he forms his sword. It hasn't changed much, it's still the four and a half foot long, four inch wide, dark blue katana broadsword that has been with him since he's joined the Dojo. He holds it in front of him as he prepares for what's to come*

[b]He dashes forward and stops short in front of morter, unleashing a wave of force the shoves him back.[/b]

*Because his blade was in front of him he isn't as far back as he will normally be. He the jumps forward, slashing at him*

[b]He spins past him, gathering energy in his hand as he gets behind morter. He places a hand on mortars back and unleashes the energy, blasting him forward.[/b]

Fak! *Mortar gets knocked back, but quickly scrambles up to the sound of an explosion under your feet. The sneaky bastard planted an exploding iron ball under your feet*

[b]He stumbles forward, his aura absorbing most of the blast. He recovers and dashes forward, going to strike morters chest.[/b]

*Mortar quickly dissolves into the ground, forming under him and grabbing his ankle, making him fall face first into the ground. Mortar stands over him, sword ready. to defend himself*

[b]He wipes the dirt off his face, then spins, round housing morter back and flips up. [/b] "We're you always a dirty fighter?"

*Mortar jumps back, rubbing his cheek* I was a war beast, I did what I had to do to win. *He begins to circle you, making sure he can't get behind him*

"Mm, a fellow dog of war." [b]His hand glows as he strikes the ground, creating a concussive shockwave that sends morter back[/b]

*Mortar quickly gets knocked back, and gets up, huffing slightly, getting kinda pissed off about being thrown around like a ragdoll* You said that like you just learned that. *He immediately lunges at Zane, but dissolves into the ground at the last second. He reforms behind Zane and slams his blade into the ground, releasing all the flames off of it and causing a flaming shockwave to course through the ground, sending Zane about fifteen feet away*

[b]He hits the ground, and rolls to recover. His white sleeveless shirt and baggy pants getting singed.[/b] "Well to be fair, I don't really know a lot about you. [b]His aura flares up as he dashes forward and jumps into the air, out of morters sight[/b]

Well that's tru- wait where are you going. Zane!? Whe- are, he's gonna crush me. Shit. *After sounding like an idiot saying all that out loud he jumps for any cover he can find*

[b]Morter lands behind a nearby Boulder as Zane comes crashing into the ground, creating a powerful blast that shatters the ground and the landscape in the area. He gets up and cracks his knuckles,looking at the aftermath.[/b] "Huh, may have over killed that....."

Yeah... You may have. *Mortar yells that behind cover as he reaches for his PST. He makes sure he is completely hidden so he can execute this plan*

[b]He closes his eyes, and his aura expands to cover an area around him, about 10 feet total.[/b] "Hm, what will you do now I wonder...."

*He does not come out of cover, as if he has disappeared*

[b]He extends his aura even further, to 15 feet and feels out where morter is[/b] "Going for another underground strike?"

*Rather than what he expected, it is eerily silent for about three minutes. Then a portal opens in front of him, a figure walking through it. It is Mortar, but looks completely different. He wears a strange type of armor made of a black metal alloy. It seems to resemble Caesar's armor except the chainmail under the plates seems to have been strengthened. The plates themselves look as if they can take a crazy beating. The helmet resembles a xenomorph face except it doesn't have an elongated head and has a thin red hardlight visor around where Mortar's eyes are. He looks at you sword in hand, and holds his arm in front of him. After a second a red hard light triangular shield, about three and a half feet high, forms on his arm. He holds the shield in front of him and charges at Zane*

[b]Once morter enters the aura field, Zane turns and strikes the ground, creating several shockwaves. [/b] "Hm, I sense a transformation...."

*Mortar jams the shield in the ground, anchoring him to the ground and preventing him from moving* From you or me? *He then quickly gets up, stabbing into Zane with much more strength than before*

[b]He sidesteps, but not before the blade cuts into his side. Blood drips onto the ground as he grabs morter[/b] "I don't know.....You tell me!" [b]His hands glow as he hits morter with a direct aura blast.[/b]

Edited by BrandRobKus: 10/13/2016 9:20:08 PM*His armor takes most of the damage but he is still knocked back. Shaking it off he tackles Zane, some thrusters on his feet make the tackle stronger. As he tackles him he knees Zane's chest with each stride until he hits a tree, splintering it. Now, with metal armor over already strong knees... It's not really ideal for Zane*

[b]His aura shatters when he hits the tree, sending morter flying back into the bolder. [/b] "Now that stung a bit...."

*Mortar grunts as he hits the boulder* Yeah, that stung too... *He forms multiple small iron balls around Zane. After a second they all converge on you, pelting you with painful little musket ball like weapons*
