Incapable of blocking or dodging, Marcia yelled out in anguish as the blade then ripped through the pure white robe and dress, finding it's way into Marcia's flesh and tearing through her, to the point where it protruded from her back. Her body now pressed against Zachary's, she crushed her left hand as the orb attached to Zachary gleamed brightly and suddenly exploded in a burst of brilliant light. The explosion of arcane energy sent Marcia flying back, the sword ripping out of her body as she did so, while it would have sent Zachary back as well due to the pure force. The female mage landed about twenty feet away from Zachary, slowing rising as blood dripped from the wound in her abdomen. Even then, she wasn't willing to give up. Not now. (Orb of Imminent Destruction - 75 MP) (1200 - 75 = 1125 MP Remaining)

  • As the orb exploded, Zachary was sent flying, landing on the courtyard on his back, still skidding, leaving long scrapes on his back; however he landed a hit, and while in many duels that was the end of the battle, the first person to land a hit, however in this particular one that was clearly not the case. So, he pushed himself up, fighting through the pain. If a fight to the death was what Marcia wanted, then a fight to the was what Zach would give. Taking a deep breath, Zach kept the grip of his blade by his waist with the tip of the sword pointing up, planting his toes into the ground, before launching forward with another mad dash. He was on Marcia in seconds, aiming another swift yet powerful thrust with his sword, this time toward's Marcia's left shoulder.

Rising up from the barren ground and shaking from the intense pain, Marcia's face suddenly contorted into a look of fright as Zachary charged, her right hand immediately reaching for the short sword at her side in a panicked manner as he came closer and closer. The metal sliding out of it's steel holster, she raised it upwards and swung at the incoming blade, knocking it away and yet bouncing back herself. Marcia slid against the barren ground, both the wound in the back of her head and the sword stab in her abdomen bleeding heavily, yet she attempted to ignore the pain. It wasn't working, clearly, and Marcia held her abdomen and gasped in apparent anguish as more blood fell from the wound. Zachary could've probably left her to bleed out, to tell the honest truth. This was the first time in her life that the girl had been fatally wounded, and she was no expert in healing wounds.

  • (1250-50) (1200) A purple light could be seen as Marcia's head wound instantly healed and her stab wound started to slowly close. Soon after; Violet came running out. "What are you doing?!"

Marcia didn't even turn to look at Violet, for she seemed to have been leaving. Ripping the claymore from the earth, she only silently looked back at Zach before passing Violet. Tears of embarrassment were latched onto her face.

  • Violet followed her sister, but didn't speak. She knew her sister well enough to understand that talking about it would make it worse for Marcia.

As the two passed by a target, a scream of utmost rage escaped her throat as she turned towards the target, raising both hands as a massive orb formed within her palms as a beam of bright blue energy escaped her hands. The beam decimated the target immediately, incinerating it's straw body in an instant. Marcia fell to her knees afterwards, staring at the destruction she had caused. (Arcane Stream - 450 MP) (1125 - 450 = 675 MP Remaining)

"...W-Will I?" Marcia's voice cracked a little, her eyes staring at the barren dirt beneath her. She didn't know how to respond to Violet. Yes, they were sisters, but...this meant a lot to Marcia, truly.

  • Violet continued to embrace her sister. "You're capable of anything when you put your mind to it. You're the most stubborn sister I have, so if you want to beat him then you will beat him."

Marcia only remained silent, but rose after a minute of sobbing. She turned slowly towards Violet, before pulling her into a long, tight hug, placing her chin on her sister's shoulder.

  • Zachary fell back, using his left glove to wipe the blood off his straight sword as to avoid rusting. Examining Marcia's wounds, he couldn't help but feel bad for injuring her so; however she acted like a b*tch, and that was what she got. He sheathed his straight sword, sighing slightly. "This duel's over," He said matter-of-factly, looking at Marcia, his bright blue eyes meeting her golden ones. "Get those wounds checked out. If you need help getting to wherever you need to go for patching up, just say so." He wasn't a complete jackass to even those he disliked; he was nice enough to provide aid to the wounded, no matter what they'd done or said to him.

The girl only stood still, her blushing face going back to it's olive color as the blushing subsided slowly. A look of anger crossed Marcia's face, but instead of taking it out on Zachary in a flurry of spells, energy and arcane, she stomped over to where her claymore was embedded into the dirt, and ripped the weapon from the ground after sheathing her own sword. It took both hands and a couple of minutes to rip it from the earth. Marcia only looked back at Zach with no emotion, before sighing and turning away from the young man. One of her sisters had arrived and begun to heal her wounds. She didn't care. She didn't care for anything at the moment. For tears of fury and embarrassment were latched onto the mage's face as she left the courtyard, for she had felt defeat for the first time in her life. ((And fin. Nice.)
