[i]Relentless, Zach rushed forwards again, determined to keep Axel on the defensive. Aggressive, unrelenting, and leaving no space for mistakes, Zach sped up, lifting his sword above his left shoulder as he brought it downwards diagonally from his top left to his bottom right with all the force he could muster. He wasn't any ancient warrior or master swordsman, but he was a decent swordsman and an even better improviser.[/i]

[b][i]He paused as he moved to the side the blade cutting part of his leg as his eyes narrowed. Blood coming down it as lowered his body spinning as he slashed upwards at the man with both swords. Making sure the blow wouldn't be lethal but could hurt as he did so. A very clear smile on his face as he did this.[/i][/b]

[i]Blue eyes widening, his reaction time wasn't fast enough to block or parry the attack, and only barely backpedaled enough to avoid too deep of a cut; however the two blades made a long gash in his left arm, as Zach grit his teeth in an attempt to focus. After being struck, he fell back, glancing briefly at his wound, before getting his head back in the duel as he readied his sword once again, determined to do well in this duel.[/i]

[b][i]He smiled as he flicked the blood off his blades. Beginning to circle him now as he did so his eyes watching his movement as if too wait for him to make a move.[/i][/b] "Your pretty good that hit to my leg stung." [b][i]He said as he smiled chuckling his eyes gazing into zachs. Shaking his head as his fur shook around as he kept his stance.[/i][/b]

[i]The moment Axel took a single step, Zach made a mad dash forward, his toes pounding into the ground and sending dust and dirt into the air as he accelerated to his top speed of twenty three miles an hour, then, a foot away from Axel he suddenly slowed, showing the agility of somebody who had been working at it most of their life. His right foot right below Axel's right shoulder, he aimed a slash toward Axel's gut; either it hit and be Zach's success, or Axel struck him and it be a failure.[/i]

[i][b]He looked at the blade as it cut through part of his chest surprised at the speed. Blood coming off as he moved preventing it from going to much farther. Blood coming off of him as he panted looking at him wincing slightly.[/b][/i] "Ow jeez....didn't see that coming there..."

[i]Zach pulled back, using his left, gloved hand to wipe off the blood on his shiny, silver sword, to avoid rusting. He sheathed it, extending his right hand, and faking a perfect smile once more.[/i] "Well fought; enlightened me a little as for what I have to work on." [i]He said honestly, as Zachary wasn't one to lie about things like this.[/i]

[b][i]He thinks as he places his blades back in their sheathes. His eyes looking at Zach as he taps his foot thinking to himself a bit.[/i][/b] "Well...maybe while staying aggressive don't leave yourself so open. You cut me a few times and that's great. However in real combat people could take advantage of that and really hurt you."

[i]Zachary looked over at Axel, his eyes narrowing slightly.[/i] "Did I not just say that I know what I have to work on?" [i]He said rhetorically; he disliked it when people told him things he already knew, and while he knew that they were only trying to help, Zach didn't particularly care.[/i] It's what they get for trying to help somebody like me, [i]He thought to himself, looking away from Axel.[/i]

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend I seem to have miss understood what you meant..." [b][i]He said as his ears drooped his tail going between his legs as he looked around sighing slightly.[/i][/b] "Sorry Zach..."

[i]Zach wasn't one to take pity, to feel sorry for people, and so he for the most part ignored Axel's sad appearance.[/i] "Yeah, whatever," [i]He said impatiently, waving Axel's apology away.[/i]

"Alright don't accept it then?" [b][i]He seemed confused and a little upset but shrugged it off as he walked away. His tail twitching showing a much more irritated reaction as he moved away. He wasn't the best at apologizing, hell it was hard of him to do so and he had been working on it. So this royally upset him when someone can't even accept it.[/i][/b]

"There's no point in feeling sorry," [i]Zach said, turning away.[/i] "Wastes time." [i]He learned this the hard way, year after year. And so, Zach began to walk away, sheathing his straight sword at his left side.[/i]

[b][i]He went to say something as he shook his head. There was no point in arguing the fight was over it was no longer required for him to stay anyways as he began to leave in the other direction.[/i][/b] [spoiler]end? [/spoiler]
