Anyone else think she deserved some sort of questline? Am I the only one who is really bothered by this? A random underwhelming entrance out of nowhere by what was thought to possibly be a key character is RoI? Really bungie???
Edit: ayy I've never been trending before. Go to my profile and check out some of my other topics so I can these ideas out there

Efrideet Ex Machina
-
Ya she just came out of no where no clue to where she was or what she was doing
-
I've got a spear with her name on it PAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *jumps off cliff*
-
She through Saladin at a tank. That is awesome. She could have tge voice of a three year old high on helium and still have my respect.
-
So if you were a legend and no one knew about your where abouts , you think people would go trying to find you when they have bigger things to worry about like siva or a big cabal fleet trying to invade your solar system
NOOOO!!!!
-
Why would anyone be pissed that another waifu appeared before us? Now the Queen, Petra, Eris, Amanda and Sweeperbot have more competition. Get real.

My theory is that the Iron Lords are actually a bunch of whitewashed wannabes. Their air of badassery is a facade. When Saladin knights you an iron lord, the camera pan out of the empty hall just reeks of "whoop-dee-do, BFD..." They should have had all the wolves be present for the ceremony at least.
-
What race is she?
-
Yeah, I know right they had to make someone the new Iron Banner vendor so guess what..... old long lost Iron Lord appears out of nowhere just in time for Iron Banner just straight out of the blue hell Zavala would of made a better vendor (well maybe) but I personally think bungie is running out of creativity and ideas so they just pulled a name out of the hat.

Edited by Brimstone: 10/10/2016 4:33:17 PMYea. Even more at the fact that Tyra's text in the quest says something like 'The Archives must be rewritten' and 'She doesn't want to talk about her whereabouts.' Which, to the experienced eye, reads as such: 'We -blam!-ed over lore and pulled her out of our ass, we won't tell you why and how though.'
-
"Hey guess what you think I've been dead for centuries and I'm back" "Ha, go do my old job fam" ^ Thats the creativity of Bungie's writing end effort.
-
Efrideet is an anagram of 'diet free' I wouldnt expect too much story from someone named after a carton of weight watchers soup.
-
I could tell you the story of Efrideet, her glory, why she left the Iron Lord so many years ago, where she has been since, but I won't. I also won't unlock her grimoire card either Guardian. Muahahahahaha
-
Now the funny thing I wonder; Are we going to see this cutscene every IB? For players that missed this first IB they can't leave out this "story"? So every month she is going to show back up for a week, then dissapear again and then keep mysteriously showing up again the same way each time?
-
Plot Holes YYYYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH!
-
I will admit, it feels lazy. I hope that her line of text at the end of the Iron Banner wuest is some foreshadowing on her having a larger role later in the game.
-
No what I am pissed is that in the story it did not mention Vosik or Aksis..... LIKE WHO THE -blam!- ARE THEY?!?!?!?!?
-
leading up to the launch of this banner, I read that there may be a short questline before being able to banner. Was disappointed that that didn't happen, but maybe they'll add something in later. I for one thought they should've brought back Efrideet's spear as maybe the reward for said questline. It was cool they brought her back, back it could've been cooler if they added something more to get you emersed into the character.
-
She's a vendor....and a temporary one at that. Maybe Bungie should add some cut scenes for Eva and the sweeper robots too?
-
Her generic voice is what gets me. *cringe*
-
Especially the cutscene Efrideet:ayy yo were my statue Saladin:they for them ded people Efrideet: *looks around and does nothing*
-
Ya I'm with you on this...and that voice....she sounds like she just got her fu%in nails done at the mall
-
I was at first, like before I read her card and heard about the push to Saturn and larger areas with villages and stuff for D2. So my thought is that Lady Efrideet is from this pacifist group, heard about SIVA being dealt with (by us), and she's come to judge us. For D2, I can see us making the journey to her colony and learning how to use our light differently. I would love to see more come out of her storyline, maybe as the year develops and we get a good bit of foreshadowing into D2. While it was weak to start, the soil is quite fertile for the growth of more story. Sorry for the horrible metaphor....

all the characters in destiny are flat and boring. best we got is cade and fking eris morn. its sad that the most developed character in destiny is mother fkin eris morn
-
I could tell you of an Iron Lord... I could tell you of her trials, her pain, her disappearance... They use to tell stories and sing songs of her great battles... But now...now the people no longer care... You must protect the light Guardian. Enter the Iron Banner...and put down your fellow Guardians. Extinguish their light, then...you will be ready to push back The Darkness. If you don't we won't be able to survive it this time. (Destiny logic in a heartbeat...)

But naw, she da exo stranger tho.
