Gunslinger // Dojo Gates // 11:59 AM // Marshal JT. The scorching ball of gas and plasma that was the sun had been sending its heavenly rays down onto the soil of Tatakai, which in turn illuminated the entire hemisphere of the world that was facing it. Though the hat atop JT's head managed to keep the sunlight away from his eyes in rather blinding quantities, and the absence of light allowed quite the shadow to be cast over his face, which consisted of sun kissed skin, with two cyan blue spheres called eyes inside the head and a nice red beard of stubble, which was dyed brown to fit his cowboy image. JT's duster flew behind him slightly as a light breeze zoomed past his well built body, but he didn't move an inch from his spot as he waited. For who was he awaiting? The ballsiest man he could have ever known, or the one with a death wish. The clock read eleven fifty nine and JT was eagerly awaiting high noon to arrive, because that would mean his enemy wasn't going to show up in the most barren of courtyards, and that would also mean a bullet wasn't to be wasted. But that was a wish that would go unfulfilled as soon as a man in a black vest walked through the area, one with a white shirt tucked into his brown pants and a black desperado's hat atop his head. He had not a modern revolver like the Frontiersman was packing, instead he carried a Colt Army Revolver from the days of old, it was single-action compared to JT's double-action but it was still just as effective. Either man stopped when there was a fifty foot gap between the two, and either gunslinger just gave off a stare that would send chills down the spine of any who watched. When it came time to draw, the small bell in JT's head chimed like it did every day at twelve o' clock in the afternoon. Either man gripped the pistol at their hips as JT's bionic arm held the comfort grip tightly, as the other man was just beginning to wrap his fingers around the gun. By the time JT had been pulling it up and cocking the hammer of his weapon, the figure he faced had just barely managed to get his finger on the trigger of the gun. And when JT looked down the barrel of his gun, he saw why the man had challenged him, for he had been pulling his weapon faster than any gunslinger on Tatakai had ever been able to see. One shot, two shots, three shots, four shots, five shots, six shots. JT fanned the hammer with the speed of a bullet using his thumb, to the point that the gun was barely given any time to shift around inside. When each of the .44 shots flew out from the smoking barrel of his gun, they each propelled into different limbs of the body. The first two slammed into the hands of JT's opponent, the third into the solar plexus, four and five rendered his kneecaps useless, and six embedded itself into the cranium of the man, which sent him stumbling backwards as the bullets staggered his body and forcibly made him collapse as the last bullet hit. And so JT holstered his revolver, turned, and addressed the crowd behind him. "You all chose to risk letting a bullet travel through me and hit one of you? Smart choice, 'cause I don't take bullets." ((Open for interaction. Fight, talk, whatever :3 ))

"...Bravo, cowboy." A light feminine voice spoke out from the crowd, seeming to have escaped the mouth of a girl, who sounded as if she was only eighteen. The girl stood at six foot six, her body hidden away by a rather heavy looking suit of golden and carbon fiber armor, with titanium plating underneath the metals covering it, while hardlight shields covered the suit of knightly armor. The helm was in the woman's armored hand, or gauntlet, shaped like the growling face of a hungering lion, the metallic teeth shining brightly in the sunlight that fine day as a long dark red plume protruded from the back of the helmet. Bright red rubies adorned the chest piece of the girls armor, depicting that wherever she was from...she had to be somewhat wealthy, or had some good friends. The girl herself was, to say the least, looking as if she didn't belong there at all. She did in fact look eighteen, with smooth tan skin, high, slightly shallow cheekbones, and a wild grin of apparent joy, her electric yellow eyes staring right at the victor of the showdown. Long, wavy red hair fell from her head and onto her shoulders, shining just as brightly as her armor in the light of the blazing sun. Strapped to the girl's back was a seven foot nine foot long steel and golden spear, the end of the weapon having a crossguard, while the tip was a shining metal, electricity lightly flickering off of its tip. At the woman's waist were two .44 Magnum revolvers, their gunmetal grey painting dull yet only slightly gleaming, the name "Bonnie" on the barrel of the left while the name "Clyde" was on the barrel of the right revolver. The girl donned the armor and weapon the Dragonslayer Ornstein, while she had the facial features of the Blue Flame Nora. In short, it was Olivia. The proud daughter of the knight and the pyromaniac. "...Seriously though. Nice."

  • JT's literal cyan eyes shifted from crowd citizen to crowd citizen before resting his eyes on the woman in the flashy gold armour, which he knew was something only one in the Ornstein Family Tree would have equipped. Really he didn't care who she was related to all that much though, because he knew Orn must have raised her well. "Thanks kid," his old Texan voice said to her as he pulled the revolver from its holster again to reload, and the crowd dispersed. "And you cab call me JT if you like."

"JT. As in the cowboy that Dad and Uncle Smo hanged around with back in the day? Damn. Well, it's certainly a pleasure to finally meet the Marshal. Name's Olivia, by the way." Olivia sarcastically bowed towards the Marshal, evident by her snickering right after committing the action. Though after straightening herself, she looked behind him and at the fallen man, the one who JT had fired six .44 rounds into in a rather frightening manner. Olivia made note to never get in a standoff with the cowboy. "So who was the poor fellow over there? Y'know, the one that you just sorta shot up in that...Western duel thing."

  • "A standoff?" JT asked her as that's what he had just participated in and consequentially ended with just one cylinder of bullets. "Yeah, son of a bitch tried to beat me at my own game, made it personal by insulting my ability to protect my family. You never seen a standoff before?"

"I've seen it in the movies...But I've never seen a real-life one, if that's what you mean." Olivia hadn't seen a lot at all, and that seemed awfully ironic, considering that she was brought to Lordran, the dimension Ornstein was descended from, and had recently slain dragons and had been named "Titanslayer" for her role in the defeat of Goliath, the Twilight monstrosity that attacked the Dojo.

  • "Oh I know, shit is portrayed in movies a bit too much and at this point it looks horribly generic," JT admitted. It was true, ever since The Good The Bad And The Ugly's Western style movies were big, so were cowboys. The only reason JT was original is because he used tech often. "Though hell, I'm good at it and that's all I really care about at this point."

"Mm. Only thing I'm truly good at when it comes to combat is using a spear, really. I guess I'm alright with a sword, okay with firearms..." Although she had seen several older Western movies, Olivia had never actually seen The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly, but she still acknowledged JT's skill. She excelled more with melee weaponry anyway, she was just used to it. She also had a strange amount of experience with killing giant monstrosities. Dragons, Wyverns, Giants, Goliath...the list goes on.

  • "A spear? Would you be up for a spar by any chance? Fought one guy with a spear in my life, and that was a double team on him." JT remembered fighting Orn in a VR sim. It was with Treyman and he had to tag-team one person just to do it. And he also had wanted to see just how good a fighter Olivia was, as he was genuinely interested.

"...Sure. Alright." Olivia simply slid on her lion helm before walking over to where the man that JT had shot up had fallen, taking position there. She drew the metallic spear on her back with a *shink*, the metal leaving the sheath as she raised the weapon up and swung it to her right side, as it was in her right hand, turning to face the cowboy. The eye sockets to the growling lion helm steadily lit up a beautiful bright red, and hardlight shields began coursing over the metal of the armor. "...Don't know if you'll be fighting with the intent to kill or not. This melee only, or...?"

  • "Melee only, yeah, and I'm not killing you unless you try to kill me." JT put his hands on the twin swords on the back side of his duster's belt where they were hidden from most peoples sight, as he pulled the poisonous and flame-embedded blades, each with their own trait. They were taken from The Dancer moments after removing the ring on her finger. And so the cowboy started slowly walking towards Olivia.

"...Fair enough." Olivia grasped the spear with both hands as electricity flickered at the tip of the weapon, and she aimed the weapon straight towards JT. She did recognize the weapons he was using: the dual blades of the Dancer, taken from her by the cowboy a while back. Olivia was impressed, to say the least, as she had heard the story from villagers within the Dojo. She began approaching, beginning to work up a charge as she began sprinting towards JT.

  • JT's blades both had their menacing effects to them, but the metal hands of JT ensured that he always had an iron grip on the hilts of his blades. And so he ran towards Olivia as the springs in his metal legs carried him further and further in lunges when he ran, and when he leapt into the air, he flew ten feet up before falling down behind Olivia, where he landed with ease.

As JT fell and landed, Olivia suddenly slammed her spear into the ground and spun herself around suddenly, ending up about six feet away from JT. She stood up straight, tearing the spear from the earth and gripping it with both hands once more. She would have to get close, yet not close enough to where her spear became useless in CQC.

  • JT's left eye had gotten a sudden but quick glint, like something was flashing inside it. When it happened, JT saw a red outline along the body of Olivia and he started to advance onward, as the weapons in his hands were spun to the sides to simply be flashy.

Only moving towards JT as he approached, Olivia picked up her pace as she aimed the spear at his stomach, although her idea was not to impale him. Once again, she began a charge, but as she got close enough, she suddenly spun around and swung the spear horizontally, the weapon's metal tip flying towards JT's right side, towards his hips.

  • JT swung his right blade down at Olivia's weapon with such force that it would send the tip into the ground, though it appeared as if his arms and legs were moving on their own as JT stared into the eyes of his opponent. The left blade was the poisoned one, which he used to try and sever Olivia's left knee, or at least poison her through a cut.

The spear immediately found its way into the ground, and the Dancer's blade slammed against the hardlight shields, slicing through and eating away at the shielding surrounding the cut. Although it dug into the gold, carbon fiber and titanium, it didn't go all the way through, and the blade was stuck within Olivia's armor plating. The knightess retaliated by immediately slamming her other leg into JT's stomach, immediately dragging her spear out of the ground and leaping back, the Dancer's blade also being torn out.

  • JT stumbled baxk as she kicked him which was a strange feeling as his metal legs usually gripped the ground, although when you have someone of Olivia's height you can expect strength. JT soon darted forwards as either blade was swung for her, when the poison blade was sent to the same spot and the flaming one was directed towards her shoulder trap.

Olivia pointed the spear at JT once more, aiming the weapon towards his stomach as she began a charge towards the cowboy, although she noticed the incoming poison blade. While she could probably withstand one slamming into her shoulder trap (it would still be deadly as hell.), she couldn't allow toxins into her body. Immediately, Olivia tapped a grey button on her metallic spear, and the tip became coated in plasma, replacing the sparking electricity. She raised her left hand to grab JT's wrist, while the flaming blade slammed into her shoulder trap, her right still clutching the plasma spear headed towards him. Slicing through hardlight, gold, carbon and even the sheet of titanium, a muffled yell could be heard as the Dancer's flaming sword sunk into Olivia's shoulder trap, although she still kept her spear aimed towards JT.

  • JT dragged the blade of fire further down as he ripped it directly out of Olivia's flesh and armour, though the hand holding the poisoned one was held tightly in place by Olivia. But JT wasn't able to attempt a hand severing strike as he had to slap the blade from Olivia, which he attempted to stoop by colliding his blade with the head of.

Groaning in pain as blood gushed from her shoulder, Olivia's eyes widened as the spear was knocked away, a slight growl of anger escaping her mouth. She reeled her head back and then full-on slammed her forehead into JT's head, in an attempt to knock him back and stun him. She let go of the cowboy's wrist as she did so, hoping that he'd be knocked back even more.

  • The difference between a kick to knock someone back and a bashing of two skulls, is that the kick had leg muscles supporting it, and so JT stayed firmly n place despite the now broken and bloodied face he had upon his head, the once quite handsome and smug grin shifting to become a scowl on an injured and damaged head. His retort was a slash directed upwards from his left hand, as the poisoned blade dragged diagonally across the right side of her hip and up to the shoulder. If JT were trying to kill then it would have been deep, but this was only enough to cause some light scarring on her body.

The knightess actually yelled out in apparent pain this time, a rather large gash appearing from where JT had sliced at. As soon as he tore through armor and some flesh, Olivia reared back immediately and gripped her spear with both hands, holding the weapon at her side before suddenly jabbing at him. For this, she had grabbed the crossguard on the spear with her left for support, thrusting the weapon with enough strength to pierce the scales of dragons with ease.

  • The plasma tip was a boon to JT and a disadvantage to Olivia in a way that only the Techno-Cowboy had thought of, as the immense heat would cauterize the wound upon entry and release from his body. Her spear protruded through the torso of the cowboy as the burning sensation lingered through his stomach and the metal tore through flesh and bone, completely impaling JT like food on a shishkebab was ran through by a stick. But the cowboy dashed forwards and furthered himself onto the weapon as he tackled Olivia while still ran through, as she could not use it while it was still inside his body.
