Gunslinger // Dojo Gates // 11:59 AM // Marshal JT. The scorching ball of gas and plasma that was the sun had been sending its heavenly rays down onto the soil of Tatakai, which in turn illuminated the entire hemisphere of the world that was facing it. Though the hat atop JT's head managed to keep the sunlight away from his eyes in rather blinding quantities, and the absence of light allowed quite the shadow to be cast over his face, which consisted of sun kissed skin, with two cyan blue spheres called eyes inside the head and a nice red beard of stubble, which was dyed brown to fit his cowboy image. JT's duster flew behind him slightly as a light breeze zoomed past his well built body, but he didn't move an inch from his spot as he waited. For who was he awaiting? The ballsiest man he could have ever known, or the one with a death wish. The clock read eleven fifty nine and JT was eagerly awaiting high noon to arrive, because that would mean his enemy wasn't going to show up in the most barren of courtyards, and that would also mean a bullet wasn't to be wasted. But that was a wish that would go unfulfilled as soon as a man in a black vest walked through the area, one with a white shirt tucked into his brown pants and a black desperado's hat atop his head. He had not a modern revolver like the Frontiersman was packing, instead he carried a Colt Army Revolver from the days of old, it was single-action compared to JT's double-action but it was still just as effective. Either man stopped when there was a fifty foot gap between the two, and either gunslinger just gave off a stare that would send chills down the spine of any who watched. When it came time to draw, the small bell in JT's head chimed like it did every day at twelve o' clock in the afternoon. Either man gripped the pistol at their hips as JT's bionic arm held the comfort grip tightly, as the other man was just beginning to wrap his fingers around the gun. By the time JT had been pulling it up and cocking the hammer of his weapon, the figure he faced had just barely managed to get his finger on the trigger of the gun. And when JT looked down the barrel of his gun, he saw why the man had challenged him, for he had been pulling his weapon faster than any gunslinger on Tatakai had ever been able to see. One shot, two shots, three shots, four shots, five shots, six shots. JT fanned the hammer with the speed of a bullet using his thumb, to the point that the gun was barely given any time to shift around inside. When each of the .44 shots flew out from the smoking barrel of his gun, they each propelled into different limbs of the body. The first two slammed into the hands of JT's opponent, the third into the solar plexus, four and five rendered his kneecaps useless, and six embedded itself into the cranium of the man, which sent him stumbling backwards as the bullets staggered his body and forcibly made him collapse as the last bullet hit. And so JT holstered his revolver, turned, and addressed the crowd behind him. "You all chose to risk letting a bullet travel through me and hit one of you? Smart choice, 'cause I don't take bullets." ((Open for interaction. Fight, talk, whatever :3 ))

  • While Violet sprinted, JT lunged with his metallic legs, which already had muscles twice as strong as the average human, but on top of that he also had springs within his legs and joints to propel him further, as that was also affected by the five hundred pounds he weighed in at due to the metals. So he was likely running at around fifty miles per hour, something he was going at quite quickly, and as such he had to literally lift his arm so Violet would be trailing behind him. He just hoped the train was outside.

  • The train was still there, having not moved an inch. Violet yelled as JT suddenly sprinted forward, but soon quieted down. The door to the conductor's cabin was wide open, with Alyssa lying in the recliner, her eyelids shut and stained with blood as well as her entire face, blood exuding from her sweat pores. Her breathing was so shallow it was nearly undetectable, but it was still there. Violet gasped audibly, and ran up to Alyssa, jabbing the syringe into her left arm, pumping the lime green medicine inside it into Alyssa. Slowly, she stopped bleeding, and her breathing gradually grew better, however she was unconscious.

  • "Son of a bltch..." JT mumbled to himself upon seeing her condition, though he wasn't blaming her, rather he was beating himself up over this entire ordeal and the hell that would go on for her. "So who's place is she staying at, mine or yours?"

  • "She needs medicine, first... maybe in the form of a mask the releases a gas version of this," Violet gestured towards the syringe. "That she can inhale whenever she feels an attack coming on. If she had that, she could continue living alone; although it may be a good idea for me to tag along with her wherever she goes—unless you're willing to?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at JT. Violet didn't mind either way, rather liked giving people options.

  • "I'll do what I can to keep her alive," JT honestly said as he looked to Violet's eyes as his own showed a look of desperation and need for the woman to live, because he blames himself for not being able to help more. "If you can't or don't want to take her then I will."

  • Violet looked at JT for a moment, then shook her head. "I dunno, cowboy. She might not want to live like this, relying on medicine and a mask to keep her alive." She said this bluntly, truthfully, as there was no beating around the bush.

  • "So what're you suggesting?" JT asked. He had a few ideas as to how she could be staying alive, like a pump for the stuff or an Automatic Injector Sleeve, though they were both expensive to get the meds for.

"A mask," Violet said again, before launching into an in-depth explanation. "This particular disease targets certain parts of your body and makes them useless or severely damaged. In my case, my dominant arm was rendered useless. In this case, something in her throat or neck that makes it harder for her to breath. This injection won't last long, as the part of her body that isn't working is in her neck. Thing is, I don't know how smart jamming a syringe into somebody's throat is, so the next best thing is to inhale the medicine somehow. I suggest that she wear a mask constantly, with canisters of a gas version of this medicine inside them, so when she feels an attack coming on she can immediately release some of the medicine to inhale. Do you think you can manage to make something like that?"

  • "I install prosthesis and neural augmentations on people by performing brain and other forms odd surgery," Said JT with a smug smile on his face. "I can make a mask for her."

  • "Get to work quickly, please," Violet murmured, ready to inject Alyssa again when the disease began to act up again. "It doesn't have to be pretty—oh, gosh, she's losing her hair already.... That's a side effect of the medicine." And indeed, strands of brown hair were beginning to fall off Alyssa's head.

  • "Shit,, let's go!" Shouted the cowboy louder than the ringing of a gun, as he picked up the woman and put her over his right shoulder. he sprinted into the clinic as the sliding doors opened, and as he entered, he got some strange looks when entering the surgery rooms and passing the waiting room. He pretty much slammed Alyssa on the surgery table harder than he slammed her in the non-canon part of this interaction, and he grabbed a gas mask from one of the crates littered about the room, alongside a Bunsen burner and a large Erlenmeyer flask with a rubber stopper. "Pass me a vial, quick!" He shouted to Violet as he prepared a little Bill Nye and Walter White shit.

  • Violet pulled from her pocket a vial of lime green medicine, handing it over to the cowboy as slowly, more and more strands of hair were falling. There was no question that Alyssa would end up bald, just like Violet, however otherwise, it didn't appear as though Alyssa was in any immediate danger—not that it that it meant that the cowboy could take his leisurely time.

  • JT turned the burner on after he put the vial into a test tube rack, as the clinic seemed more and more like a laboratory than anything now. He set the burner to great heats, so much so that it was even emitting the heat across the room slightly, before he placed the vial over the fire and watched as it slowly but surely cooked and heated, as it was at a boiling point lower than water according to a PM. He put a flask over the injector for the tube when it became a green cloud and he pushed it in, before he grabbed a rubber stopper and trapped the cloud. "In one of those boxes is a circular disk for the gas mask, pass it to me."

  • Violet went to the boxes, searching into she found what the cowboy requested. She gave it to JT, and could only watch as he saved Alyssa's life. She hated being so helpless.

  • Meanwhile JT was going with what he learned in the tenth grade and some MacGyver shit as he winged the everlasting hell out of it all. He put the flask over the entrance hole of the disk, popped the cap off, and tipped it upside down so the gas wold pour into the disk as it couldn't have been lighter than air, though the cowboy placed the flask down on the table after and grabbed the mask. He screwed in after placing it on one of the three slots, the middle one, and boom he just made a life-saving thing for the woman. "BOOM BABY, I JUST CHEMISTRIED!" He shouted as the Marshal approached the woman on the bed, before he put the mask on her head.

"Chemistried...?" Violet questioned, a slightly amused expression showing on her face as Alyssa's eyelids suddenly flew open, her face still bloodied from the attack. She took a single breath of the medicine in the mask, and sighed, her head slowly clearly as she looked around. "Where... wah...?" She murmured, confused. Her voice had changed slightly; it was hoarse, much more quiet than it usually was, and scratchy, and Alyssa seemed to choke on the speech, before lapsing into silence. After a moments hesitation she spoke again, clearing her throat slightly; however it was clear that talking was rather discomforting. "Where... am I?"

  • "My clinic," said a very pleased cowboy as he approached a crate of filters for the gas mask Alyssa wore on her young-ish face, and brought them back to the burner he originally kept them near. "Violet, how many spare vials do you have at any given time?"

  • "I carry with me five flasks of medicine," Violet said as Alyssa raised her head. When she did, all of the light-brown hair, tied in its ponytail, slid off of her now bald head. Alyssa let out a small shriek of surprise that sounded painful in her throat, feeling her smooth head, he eyes widening in shock behind her mask. "Two flasks should be more than enough, as this medicine is a gas.... I'll take her to a hospital someplace to get medical advice, and maybe some other stuff involving the mask."

  • "Try and get her a tank, I can rig up some armour to keep a couple tanks on her." JT would've done this for anybody he was friends with regardless of who, though he actually felt bad for Violet and her disease. He had heard of a variety of other diseases and afflictions that plagued others from various lands, bit this one was strange and new to him.

  • "Yeah, okay," Violet said, nodding as she helping Alyssa off the bed. She spoke quietly into the woman's ear, who was silent, nodding every once in a while. Finally, Violet looked back at JT. "I'll bring her back here in a few days time," She said as Alyssa smiled halfheartedly at JT from behind her mask.

  • ((>Saving lives and getting halfhearted smiles (JK))) JT simply smiled to the duo of women as he thought to himself, about exactly how he could help further, seeing as he blamed himself for her badly conditioned state. He was the one who brought her to the canyon and he had thought it was something from there, so he was prepared to give anything he could to assist.

  • Violet smiled warmly back at JT, sighing as she looked at Alyssa, who had turned away. "Thanks for everything," Violet said, before bringing Alyssa out of the clinic, heading towards a hospital. ((End?))
