Okay, cool. I got the metal with me right now. *Mortar takes out a strange metal rod with hexagonal touch screens around it. He aims it at a wall and a red orange ring forms on it. He sticks his hand through it and pulls out a large sack* Fifty pounds of Valhite for the lady

  • She takes out a peice and looks it over before placing it into a large device with a open window on the side. "Interesting" She says to herself While the machine seems to be generating no heat it causes the material to melt. "A little something I built since heat was going to be an issue at the time. Instead of heating the object to melting point it loosens the atomic structure to the point of liquid." A bowl lifts up carrying the now liquefied substance holding it over a cast. The bottom the the bowl falls open pouring it into the casting which then is placed into a slot in the machine. "After that it solidifies it and tempers the material to the right density and hardness for what I need" A slot opens up bringing the casting out of the machine. Ama picks it up and unlatches the object revealing a well crafted shell with no defects. "I'll still need to crack it open and put in the components but other than that it's basically hit print and watch it come to life"

  • That's one of the most intriguing 3D printers I've seen. Have you made all of this or did you have some help?

  • "Pretty much everything here I made from salvage and a lot of modifications. There was a lot of tinkering to get these to do what I wanted but worth the time."
