The robot destroyers were the Sol Collective and the unit that trifled with the Republic, which was ended in the Battle of New Mexico, in Republic history. All in all they've seen some threats that, altogether, would overwhelm the Empire if they were to take them all on. Though even in times of desperation and weakness did the Republic thrive.
